I have been coming to see Jessica at Youphoria Massage for over 5 years now. It is the best investment I have ever made in myself. I have chronic upper back/neck tension - at one point (prior to seeing Jessica) my doctor had prescribed PT for me which cost me $2000 even with insurance.  Since coming to see Jessica monthly, my tension has improved immensely. She is easy to schedule with, her space is comfortable/clean/quiet, and she is a pretty cool person too. She listens to exactly where your issues are and addresses them appropriately. You won't be disappointed! More...

I've been coming to Jessica for about 3 years. Her location is really easy to get to off Belmont and the little studio is perfect for a quiet relaxing massage. Sometimes I need a lot of work depending on my fitness levels or if I just need to zone out. Let's just say it's more the latter than the former since I haven't been working out : )I also get therapy of a different sort as I can air my grievances with Jess if I feel the need. She will definitely ask you about areas of focus and ways to help you stretch, de-stress, etc.Very happy I found her : ) More...

Not only is Jessica a lovely person--easy to talk to, calming, comforting--she is an excellent massage therapist who keeps up on new techniques. I've seen her over the past two years about every six months when stress freezes up my shoulder and neck; the first time I went to see her I walked in crying and left smiling.I'm now working through a bit more regimented session to get closer to the root of the problem. I was inspired to write today (a day after my second 90-minute, deep tissue session) when I realized how ridiculously limited my mobility had been: I went to put on my seatbelt and noticed myself using my left hand to *push* my right arm across my body to reach the buckle. WHAT?! Clearly, I had been doing that to compensate for a lack of mobility, and I only noticed it today because it was completely superfluous. Her massage room is clean and relaxing, she's an excellent listener and is also willing to offer advice and suggestions for a better massage/recovery. She truly knows her stuff; I've recommended her to two friends and will continue to do so. More...

If you're like me (let's hope you're not), you can't relax during a massage. There is something about the typical pretentiousness of the setting of most spas, whether it be the offerings of cucumber water, the whispering, or the tip-toeing you have to do to get to the massage room. I never successfully shut down my mind and accept the hands massaging my tired muscles. Fortunately this all changed with my introduction to Jess at Youphoria. While I had my misgivings about a massage in someone's house, and not to mention countless mental replayings of the Seinfeld episode when Jerry dated a masseuse, I was willing to give it a shot based on a very positive recommendation. Upon meeting Jess it was easy to start to relax. She's friendly, professional, and very interested in understanding what may be wreaking havoc on your muscles. The massage room is just like any other massage room that you would find in a regular spa, but it doesn't come with the same unspoken rules that terrify me, which really helped me enjoy the indulgence of the appointment. Once I was settled in, Jess worked her magic while I finally shut my brain down from my typical inner dialogue ramblings and various to-do lists. As she rubbed, I got to enjoy the heated massage table and the sounds of waves crashing on a beach (a pina colada would have been a nice touch to go with them) and after that a rainstorm, which made me hope there was a real downpour and thunder when I left. Even writing this review I can find myself transcending into the calm that accompanied me during the one hour massage and followed me throughout the day. As a dedicated runner, I rarely have made time for massaging, but since Jess was able to find spots I didn't even realize were tight, it made me realize I need to make this a more regular occurrence. And right now I don't see why I would go anywhere else. More...

Youphoria is awesome. Jessica does an amazing job every time.  The atmosphere set is very relaxing and the price is extremely competitive. I am very active and work out often and the deep tissue massage is the best I've had in the city.  She comes very highly recommended, you will not be disapointed. More...

Jessica gives an awesome massage!!  She wants to spend the time that you need on "problem" areas and really works to get those problems worked out. She gave me the best massage I have ever had. I would highly recommend her especially with her fair prices, attention to details, and very sweet personality. More...

A friend gave me a card for a free 20 minute massage with Jessica at Youphoria Massage. I've been searching for a massage therapist that is both personable and skilled. Jessica was courteous, personable and skilled! She also didn't hesitate to explain the difference between the various types of massages offered when I needed clarification. My massage was wonderful. Good pressure (and Jessica checked if it was alright) and thorough. She asked which parts of my body needed work and focused on them for the majority of the time. The massage room itself is cozy and calming. A few photos on the walls and small tea candles were well placed around the room. Some soft music was playing, but I'm sure you could request for it to be turned town or off if you wanted. There was also a curtained window that let in the sounds of birds and today's rain showers. I will definitely return! More...

Jessica did an AWESOME job today. Probably one of the best massages ever and having fibromyalgia I have had a lot of massages. She hit trigger points in areas that have been bothering me for years that no one else has ever found before. She is priced fair and very nice. 5 stars and totally recommended! :-) More...
