My 5 year old is the youngest person by a few years on a team of extremely talented girls. I struggled with allowing her to compete this year because of that and I really just wanted to allow her to do something she enjoys and get some of her energy out. What she found was very patient coaches that encouraged her to thrive. They allowed her to be her bubbly self without compromising on skill and technique. However, what I’m most excited about are the kids, who despite their own personal goals, do not ostracize my daughter because she’s bouncing all over the walls and can’t pay attention longer than 2 min, but take the time to help her get better. They all stop, watch and celebrate each other when they get something that they’ve worked so hard for. Anybody can be a coach, but it takes someone special to foster that type of environment. I’m so grateful for Coach Brandy, Coach Sara Kate, Coach Amanda, all of the incredible gymnasts and the YMCA. Really excited to see what the season brings!!! More...

This morning was my first time attending Vince's class. I have to say...he worked us out! just after I put my stuff up, thinking I was about to leave class early. ..because I got to ease back into it...he tricked me. He said it was the last 10 min of class, so I was thinking we were about to cool down...but nope! He had us run lol. It was an awesome experience and he pushed me to keep going. Liberty County Branch YMCA is life changing. The employees are respectful, professional and caring. I’ve been going there for almost one week and my experience has been amazing. The front desk is awesome. I’ve taken two boot camp classes with Vince and his energy is AMAZING. He genuinely cares for each attendee. On my first class he told me if it’s too much for me to go ahead and modify, he walks the room to make sure you are correctly doing the exercises right. Now, he does challenge me, however his motivation and encouragement are so wonderful. The class members also encourages, cheers and motivates each other. I’ve taken Kame step-up class and she’s a beast. I enjoyed her class as well. Her class is challenging and she has great energy. She kept us moving and gave a awesome class. I will definitely attend her class again. Joining this YMCA is one of my best decisions and one of the greatest investment I’ve made for my health. Love ❤️ More...

Love the staff. The variety of classes offered and the scheduling of classes. Little misunderstanding about locker room use during summer camp times but was resolved and handled very professionally. We stop at the Hinesville area every year on the first night of our Summer trip North. (Zum Rosenhof is a destination as well. ) Always visit the Hinesville YMCA. The workout facilities are satisfactory, and your staff has always been welcoming. The kids love shooting baskets in the gym, and usually manage to get in a game with your hospitable members. I really love the classes and just wish the free weight area was bigger . Kind of small gym compared to all the other YMCA I have been to in the past. I would love it if they could invest in some newer spin bikes because some of them don't work properly. I am very grateful for the ymca and all the staff, everyone from the front desk people to the volunteers that work with the kid's in all the sports programs. I am excited that my son has a chance to get out and participate in sports even if they aren't the most competitive which isn't as important as him having fun and being active and for that I'm grateful and give much thanks to each and every person involved with sports. I started a few weeks ago with private sessions with Amber Edmonds and she is absolutely amazing. In just a few weeks I already feel so much better about myself and my ability to work out. I've seen great results so far. She pushes me and doesn't ever let me give up. She will work with you on specific target areas that you are unhappy with. She has a way of pushing you to complete things but also knowing your boundaries and not pushing her clients to far. She's by far the best personal trainer I've used and would recommend her to anyone who wants to start working out even if you're like me and haven't worked out in a very long time. More...

It a nice warm place for the family. Greeted a soon as you coming the front door. Trainers plus staff treats you like family. Alot of new trainers plus classes, ie. Insanity, yoga, beast mode, glute camp, water aerobics. Trainers are very knowledgeable. After you workout relax in the hot tub, steam room or just take a swim in the pool I've been a member for a bout a year 1/2 and it's a home away from home for me.
