Yes Creative Lab

My daughter goes to this school for about a year already. We are very happy with it. The school is run by unbelievably talented, passionate and dedicated artist Alisa Wittcop. On Friday April 20th, we attended the art show where Alisa demonstrated art works made by her students during the last 3 months. Again, we were demonstrated the fact that creativity had no its limits. The art studio is kind of diversified. Kids attend classes where they learn sculpting, animation, painting, multi-layers applications etc etc.  I was amazed with a high quality of art works made by very little kids!  3-4-5-6 year olds were able to create beautiful works by using complex technique. My daughter attended the summer program with Yes Creative Lab and she absolutely loved it. She experimented with various art techniques and materials and couldn't stop talking about what else she could have done with the given task. Their teacher created an opportunity for my child to realize that the a simple dot on a paper can become anything and everything that she can imagine.  When you find people who can make you believe that the world can be whatever you make of it, you have to stay with them. We can't wait for the regular classes to begin so that we can come back. More...

My children, 7 & 9, were very much inspired and raved about an amazing summer camp they took with Yes Creative Lab :) Not only did they talk about how fun and exciting the class was, they came up with new ideas about art- which they took outside of their creative space and brought it onto their outside "real" everyday world. Their teacher, Alisa, they called the "Art Wizard and the Art Magician!" What I found as a parent, and liked very much- was that they looked forward to attending every class, and art as I know it- traditionally- painting/coloring, etc... was taken to an entirely different level using children's imagination and them being very much empowered little creators!
