Good party rental business overall. The biggest thing about this company is that customer service is amazing yet lacking. They're extremely polite, kind, and accommodating, but communication can be inconsistent and almost absent . It is understandable that they are very busy. Therefore, getting a hold of them for a quote can be a challenge and receiving responses as told sometimes does not happen. If you want their service, prepare to be patient and persistent. However, whenever you are able to get a hold of them, they are friendly and professional people, and they also offer great prices for party equipment rental. THE INQUIRY PROCESS Wednesday: I first noticed their business on Yelp and went on their website to look at what items they offer and the prices. Their website is very detailed and helpful. I saw that we're able to request a quote through the website. In the request message, I mentioned what items I needed and provided my email address and phone number. Waited at least 48 hours since that's how long the website said it could take for a response, but I never got a response. Friday: I called them around 4pm. No answer. The automated outgoing voicemail mentioned that they can be texted at that same phone number, so I texted them right after. No response. Saturday: I tried calling them again around 11:30am. No answer. So I called their Cerritos location. My phone call was answered by a woman, and she politely asked me to text her which items I was looking to rent, and she told me she'd message me back with a quote within an hour. I texted her within 10 mins after we hung up. She never responded. Sunday: I tried calling this location's phone number again around 11:40am. My phone call was surprisingly answered immediately within the first ring. I was helped by Aurelio who asked me what my party needs were, kindly answered all of my questions, and ensured that I received my quote via email. To sum up the entire process I experienced of trying to get a quote to finally being able to make a deposit to book them (obtaining an initial quote, adjusting/finalizing my quote, proceeding with booking them by asking where to make the deposit, and asking other general questions), it was pretty difficult to get in contact with them. Texts were never responded to, and emails were responded to over 3 days later after I had called them asking for a follow up. The most reliable way to get a response from them was by calling, but even then, my call was missed about 80% of the time. THEIR SERVICES I contacted a bunch of party equipment rental business that I found on Yelp in the OC area, and Yennis had one of the best prices. They also seem professional for the most part where their website is informative/organized and the price breakdown is provided as a PDF document on their company letterhead. The week of my event, I was told I'd receive a call about 45-60 mins ahead of time on the day of their arrival to set up the equipment, but I never received the call and they showed up at a time that was somewhat unexpected. The rental items they provided to me (20x30 tent, white padded resin chairs, round tables, and cocktail tables) were good overall. All the chairs and tables were dirty and dusty, so we had to wipe all of them down. The tent walls were a bit dirty with a noticeable tear in one of the walls. Thank you Yennis for such outstanding service. When another company let my organization down at the last minute Yennis Party Rentals came through. Delivery was smooth and even though I made an error in table size , they came back and changed them out. We'll be back. More...
