My son (age 10) started taking lessons with Justin this summer! We needed to transition to a new music studio due to his past teacher retiring and Yellow Door Music Studio came highly recommended. I knew on the first Zoom call that Justin was going to be a great fit for Hunter! He has been a great 'piano' role model and we love his positive attitude. After his first piano lesson, Hunter said Justin was cool and he really liked his teaching method. When I heard that, I knew it was a great fit to have Hunter continue his piano studies with Yellow Door. We are very excited to see how Hunter develops and grows as he continues his piano lessons at Yellow Door. We also love that their is an online studio portal that we can schedule our lessons through, receive studio news and lesson recaps. Also love the communication on a weekly basis via their newsletter! My daughter (age 8) started taking piano lessons with Melia this summer. Melia is an amazing teacher! She is patient, kind, and most of all, makes learning fun! My daughter gets so excited for her lesson each week. Melia does a great job teaching via Zoom, she has adapted exceptionally to the Covid world. The monthly group classes are fantastic--they are well organized and provide great deal of additional information there just isn't time for in a lesson. I highly recommend Yellow Door! More...
