Kori (forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly) was so sweet and helpful. She validated my feelings and preferences, while also suggesting different options and things I wouldn't normally consider! She asked a lot of great questions to get an idea for my style. Ultimately, I said yes to a dress that I never would have even considered if not for her. But I couldn't be more happy! I had two disappointing experiences. I was looking for a mother of the groom dress and emailed them explaining I was plus size and very self conscious about trying on clothes. I made an appointment after they said they had about 15 dresses in their inventory. When I got there, nothing was prepared. I am disabled and had to stand there while the employee went through all the dresses. Really none but 1-2 were in the size I had stated I needed. I began to cry as I was trying on the dresses that clearly weren’t going to fit. My mom and I just left after a bit. Second experience was with my son who was standing up in the wedding. He is on the autism spectrum and doesn’t communicate the best. With the original phone call, I gave the employee what I thought were the colors/styles of the grooms clothing. I soon realized I had given colors off of a brochure the groom had messaged me. I called back and said how silly I felt. I explained we had confirmed with the bride we needed shiny black shoes. She had asked if we needed pocket square. I said I wasn’t sure and she said she would just order it and if we didn’t need it fine. My son got a message on Friday (a week before wedding) that tux was in. He called and made an appointment for Monday to check fit. They needed to do alterations. He went to pick it up Wednesday and they said they had to order new pants and to come back at 2:30 Thursday. He went back Thursday at set time and the alterations were not done yet. He waited in town until they were done. There was a note and they told him to be careful when putting jacket and pants on because there was a large cuff inside. The shoes were brown and no pocket square. The tux didn’t fit him nicely. My other son who was best man had a nice comfortable fit. This tux was tight on him. When I returned the tux the girl was going through the bag with a fine tooth comb and it was hard to have her attention with my complaint. I was told they would check with the other employees and see if anyone remembered me calling to say I made a mistake and then the owner/manager would call me. When I spoke with her there was no recollection of me calling with my mistake. She said he didn’t say anything about the brown shoes when he picked up the tux. I said well I told the girl he was autistic and it was best to talk to me. Her comment was “did you check the bag when he got home?” I did not. She offered no break in the cost. I would have been happy with an offer of even a small discount. No offer made and I told her they lost my future business. She said sorry you feel that way. More...

My husband and I went here for dinner on Friday night. Let just not impressed. We made a reservation for 530, we arrived at 515. When we checked in we were told that we needed to go sit off to the side and come back up at 530. So my husband ordered us some drinks and I went to use the restroom. Well to my surprise where the restroom is located you can see the dining room. There was about 8 tables empty. In the meantime other people were coming in that didn't have reservation and where being seated right away. Secondly the 2 things my husband tried to order off the menu they didn't have. One of which the waitress said they didn't have for months now. You would think they would cover the item up or take it off the menu. Not worth the 45 minute drive we made. More...

They food was okay. The menu made it sound fancier than what you actually got. They were out of quiet a few different things the people in my party requested. The shrimp I ordered was stuck together and then deep fried. so whoever was in charge of cleaning them. didn't take the time to separate them. mushy.. The bartender working that night needs to work on her social skills. She was not friendly... kinda seemed annoyed when anyone ordered a mix drink and she kept kicking and slamming cooler doors. We were having trouble finding a bakery that would make a strawberry shortcake wedding cake using actual angel food cake. 2 1/2 Cups said they'd have no problem with our request of strawberry shortcake cupcakes and a smaller strawberry shortcake wedding cake for our event . Everything they made for us was AMAZING! All night all we heard from our guests was how amazing the cupcakes were- even those who didn't care for sweets loved them! My husband is one who does not care for sweets, and when I had asked him what kind of dessert he wanted for the wedding, he told me "steak". I told the bakers at 2 1/2 Cups about this, and they loved it and made a fondant "steak" for the top of our cake! We loved it and my husband and the guests definitely got laugh over it! I will definitely be coming here again for future events, and I highly recommend 2 1/2 Cups for your bakery needs! More...
