Fernando is the most ridiculously amazing wedding planner anywhere! He's consistently positive, helpful and knowledgeable. He took care of everything so I didn't have to worry about a thing on our big day. He also managed to anticipate what we would want before we even knew it ourselves. He has a keen eye for design, connections to the best of the best and an undeniably charismatic personality. He's kind and genuine and his team is professional, positive and endearing. It's hard not to be sad that the wedding is over because we're going to miss Fernando. He's a unicorn in this industry and you'd be lucky to have him plan your event. As a little girl, I never dreamed of my wedding day. As a grown woman, I never planned on having a wedding. However, when the right man got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. ..I could not wait to say "I do" in front of our families. It was apparent that our wedding could quickly escalate into a 200 plus person affair, and if we went that direction without a doubt Xquizite Affairz would have planned a party of epic proportion. However, we decided to get married in less than 75 days from the engagement with 14 people total (including the bride and groom) with half of the party traveling into town from the UK, which in my opinion presented more of a challenge than a larger event with more time to plan. Fernando and his entire team knew time was of the essence and did not hesitate in making this once in a lifetime event, intimate, unique and really one of a kind. He worked efficiently to find us a venue, negotiate our space and package, saving us money to get married at one of the most exclusive resorts in the valley. He made sure my parents were getting the best pricing and best experience possible, he coordinated both the bridal and grooms party for the rehearsal and day of to make sure everyone's needs were met beyond expectation. He coordinated with my brother who performed the ceremony, scouted out the best areas in the resort and around town so we could capture iconic moments at the venue where we had our first date and staged outdoor photos with an English Double Decker bus (which was technically out of commission---can you say sweet talker Fernando) in front of Camelback Mountain for what are in my opinion some of the most original wedding photos to ever hit the valley of the sun! I wanted all the good luck traditions during the ceremony, so Fernando arranged for us to stomp a glass, jump over a broom, saw a log and he even managed for it to lightly sprinkle and produced a double rainbow as a back drop! It's been almost three months of busy lifestyles and we finally have time to write this long overdue review. We hired Xquizite Affairz for our Janaury Winter wedding in Lake Arrowhead, California. Initially we asked them to do our floral, lighting, centerpieces, and decor. Our conversations during this time were filled with excitement and ideas. Meaning Xquizite Affairz was excited to hear all of our ideas while we were nervous about absolutely everything. Fernando took all of the ideas and immediately started firing back concepts based off every color, layout, chair, flower and any other specific detail we gave him. Every design he came up with and talked to us about started turning our neverousness to excitement. You can tell he's incredibly passionate about what he does and you feel it in every conversation. We wanted a winter wedding, snow and all. Unfortunately as weather reports came in, we weren't going to have our winter wonderland. No problem for Fernando, He immediately suggested blowing fake snow and we still got our winter wonderland for photos. Even though we never discussed a DJ, Our DJ cancelled on us last minute so we called Fernando for suggestions. And again he showed up for us. A few days before we left to Lake Arrowhead Fernando reminded the bride that the aisle was grass and that her heels might dig while walking, so he suggested a heal guard or different pair of shoes in case. I wish we could write a separate review about how fresh and fragrant our arbor and bouquets were but we've attached photos so you can see for yourself :) During all of this he was constantly in contact with our venue coordinator eliminating a middleman having to go back and forth with both and removing a load off our shoulders. Upon seeing the venue completely setup on the wedding day, Fernando did not disappoint. Everything was exactly as discussed to the T and better. Him and his team took any issue that presented itself and found a solution without ever having to let us know. He truly thinks for you! That was our biggest take away from this experience. WE DIDN'T HAVE TO THINK. We left it to a true professional and our wedding was gorgeous.Fernando has this business down to a science.
