I have been coming to XOC ever since they have opened here in the village. Great place to have lunch or dinner after shopping and walking around the village. Outdoor seating is my favorite anytime of the day. I always order a margarita and some appetizers and sit and relax , watch people walk by. Their food is really delicious.They have happy hour. They serve tortilla chips with their delicious house dips.I love the jalapeño poppers.On weekend they offer brunch. Came here on a Sunday for Brunch to celebrate my in-laws birthday, it was five adults and we made a reservation just in case as it was out first time visiting. We were sat down and our waiter who honestly was pretty great seemed too busy he came started our drink order and ran off in the middle, he came back a minute or two later and finished it but it seemed like maybe he was the only waiter or one of the few only waiters there. We received our drinks and ordered our food, munched on chips and salsa while we sipped on our drinks and caught up. All was well! We ordered our food and got 2 salmons, 1 lemon mahi mahi, 1 mixed fajitas and 1 shrimp fajitas. It was so delicious really, the mixed fajitas had wonderfully cooked chicken and steak, it was the best tasting dish, so good. Overall it was very good, the food and drinks, my only complaint was that we had gratuity added on our bill of 5 people. I just wished we would have known it would be automatically added, I mean what if the service was horrible and you didn't feel that they should have that much? I didn't see anywhere on their menus or restaurant that gratuity was added no matter your party size, I'd still come back its a cool spot at least now I know. It's not about tipping because they'll get tipped anyway but it should be at the discretion of the person paying especially if your group is not too big. More...

Went for drinks. Had the Mango margarita which was great. They even used Tajin instead of salt like I requested. It was great! Only $9. Can't wait to try the Spicy Margarita next time. They gave us chips and salsa. The green was great and the red was pretty good too. The chips were hot. We saw that they offered freshly made table side guacamole too. I truly had an enjoyable time at XOC, I'm glad I stopped by. I visited during their happy hour and had quite a few options to choose from. Duane was terrific and really helped me out by pointing out which ones he felt were the best and most popular with customers. He recommended the steak nachos and they were absolutely delicious. They were prefectly prepared and presented as well. The vibe here is very welcoming and chill, everyone seemed to be having a great time and were savoring their food/drinks. I was also interested when hearing from them that they have some events happening on some Friday nights that I definitely want to come back and check out. This is in addition to the Saturday guitar sessions they told me about. The location is ideal since it is right inside the Westfield Topanga/Village, so when you visit you're able to check out all the other fun things to do there too. I have no complaints in any way about my visit here, everything was perfect and Duane provided a great experience and was very talented and professional. I plan on bringing friends and family here, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try some very authentic cooking in this part of The Valley. More...

Fantastic food, staff, and cocktails. The ambiance is wonderful with its variation if wood decor, plenty of seating both inside and out. The bar is opulent and offers more than margaritas, hallelujah! Excellent veggie options that isn't just a salad. Grilled veggie tacos, veggie enchiladas, tostada bowl salads, and Nachos are a few menu items I recalled.This is my first visit and I had the Baja fish tacos with tomatillo salsa . I prefer grilled fish tacos but their lightly beer battered fish tacos were simply delicious and filling; couldn't finish the 3rd taco. Xoc offers GLUTEN free items as well if that's your preference. Wheelchair seating available, kid friendly, and several big screen televisions mounted above the bar to view your favorite sports team.
