I love this place! All the hairdressers are awesome! Bar does my hair. Excellent colorist and great cuts. She also knows how to take care of the health of the hair. She recommends products but is never pushy about selling extra items or services. I highly recommend her. She listens to what you want and makes it happen. More...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND XANADU SALON IN HOLLYWOOD, FL—AND MALI! I called ahead and explained that I’d had an extreme allergic reaction to hair dye and asked if I could just drop by for a skin patch test. When I arrived, I was met by the owner, Mali. She educated me on a product she recommended – Biopygma. She applied some to a small area and I was pretty nervous, but Mali checked on me frequently and all was well!! I proceeded to have my roots touched up right then and there, I had a tiny trim and I cannot even tell you how happy I am with this salon, their services and most especially, with Mali! The Short Version - Bar is my hairdresser for life!! I'm not letting her go! The longer Version - I wanted my long curls gone, after an experimental haircut from my husband that didn't end well (as i figured), Thank goodness Xanadu was opened on a Monday because i desperately needed a hair cut, and Jenny did a great job. I went to her a few times more until she couldn't make it in on my short notice. But! Bar was there and did such a great and wonderful job and listens to what i want and teaches me about different styles as well that i am staying with her!! I started to come here about four years ago for a haircut. It was my luck to have Bar doing my hair from the first visit because she is the reason I keep coming back to do my hair. So now I don’t have just a good stylist in this experience but also the warmth of a friendship every time I come. I do with Bar my cut, my dark brown color and blow out. She cuts just the right amount of hair, not ever too short. I always loved her blow outs they were just so perfect. I never left unsatisfied with my hair. I was looking to try a new nail salon close to home and did a Google search that made me curious to try Xanadu. I walked in without an appointment and was greeted right away by a lovley woman at the desk who kindly asked me how she could help, asked me my name and then made a kind introduction to Julia. My mani/pedi was great. Julia did such a good job but above all made me feel very comfortable and not as other salons do when you're new. We talked and I mentioned I was interested in knowing if they offered facials and she said yes and made it a point to introduce me to Earline the esthetician. After my nail service, Earline came over to chat and offered a consultation. I decided to go ahead and take her recommendations since I was already there and had the time. All I will say is I've been to many different high end Spas including Red Door, Aveda, St.Somewhere Spa and this was BY FAR the very BEST facial experience I've EVER had!! If you are looking for a top notch/ high end facial, please do yourself the favor and go see Earline @ Xanadu! Don't be fooled by the location and low key look.
