Needed a lot of help with our 60 pound rescue puppy. She was a little over a year and is a pure sweetheart, but a happy large dog who constantly jumps on you or ignores your commands is not fun!
She also loves every passing human being, every kid or dog she’s meet outside. Constantly fighting with her trying to make sure she doesn’t get overly excited or have exhausting leash walks is not something I was looking forward to do multiple times a day.
After 3 weeks with OversightK9 we got back an Angel! She waits for our command when we are outside and if she wants to say hi to anyone during her walks. She’s at her place at home and doesn’t leave it even if we have a lot of people at home unless we release her from her place to play with the guests.
No more jumping! And even if she gets a weird once a week jump at you in an overexcitement she stops herself right away after corrected and becomes calm.

Henry is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met when it comes to dogs. He is an incredibly kind and patient person, and has a wealth of information. I feel speaking with Henry has vastly improved my knowledge on dogs as a whole and specifically my dog. Henry has helped me learn about my dog and the best ways to reward and train him effectively. My dog had a tendency to be stubborn and I had an incredibly difficult time with potty training and his bitting. Henry completely solved this, we are no longer having accidents in the house and my dog does not bite any longer. It was the best decision to go with Oversight k9. We have used multiple trainers in the past and there is no comparison.
Henry had our dog for board and train. He and his wife are extremely informative and love working with dogs.
Our dog came back a happier, healthier, and more obedient dog. We had to adjust things we did at home. Henry took the time out to explain everything and show us the right way to teach our dog.
I also have kept in touch with Henry and feel comfortable to call him with any questions I had prior, during, and after training. I will be using Henry in the future for more training and boarding services.
On top of everything , our dog came back super clean and smelling great ! (Which has NEVER happened in the past with anyone).
Hands down, the best experience I have had with training and boarding !! (Tried many places in the past, none compare!)

These people turn my anxiety level all the way down, With sending away my new puppy (Brooklyn) for training into a very family friendly welcoming experience. He kept up with reports of how she was doing and he sent pictures every 3 days or so. He was very knowledgeable and helpful from the time I called to book an appointment up until this present day which is 4 months later. My 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer had separation anxiety with few hours non-stop barking and whining, barking when meeting strangers and was very undisciplined when going out for walks. Due to living in an apartment, it was hard to train her by myself even when Henry taught me the ways that I could try by myself. Eventually, I brought my dog for 3 weeks boarding and was so grateful I did. When I went to visit her and bring her back home after 3 weeks+ of boarding, she is able to stay calm and listen to commands. She can now walk by my side and stopped pulling me with her leash once I commanded her. She now barks less frequently and was able to stop barking when I tell her to. She has gotten so much better in her separation anxiety, and I can leave her in crate without her barking non-stop now. After bringing her back home, Henry is so responsible as to contacting me to follow up with how my dog is doing when she reached home. It is easy for dogs to get back to their original behavior once they get back to their owner since they were used to us doting on them, but Henry told and taught me ways to love her and discipline her at the same time. Henry definitely knew how dogs think and behave, he is patient and fixed on many little details to improve even a single characterisitic, and that is why he proved his training to be efficient while not traumatizing and scaring dogs. My dog is a rescued doberman, when i got her she was very reactive with other dogs and barking at people. I couldn't take her anywhere. Thanks to the boarding training classes, she is now a pet friendly and people friendly doberman. Henry and Marioly made sure my rescued doberman felt like part of my pack and part of my family. She is good with dogs, cats and people. Im very happy to have found them and they did taught me everything my dog knows. Im just keeping up with the work they did with her. Henry and his wife run this small, in-home operation and they are absolutely brilliant. I sent both my young dogs (poodle mixes) at the same time bc one dog had intermittent panic attacks that did not fit into the typical separation anxiety profile. They provided the boundaries and discipline she needed to make her a far more confident dog and taught them both to walk on a leash (among other things)! They gave us insight into how a dog’s mind works differently than a human’s and helped us transition home—so we could use their teaching methods to maintain the skills the dogs learned with them. I highly recommend Henry and his wife from Oversight K9. We chose the 3 week package and it was worth every dime. You can tell that Henry was very knowledgeable about my dog Ghost breed.
He made us feel very comfortable about leaving our “baby” in good hands. During Ghost training we were sent videos and photos about his progress. Ghost was happy and learning in each capture. Henry knew the psychology characteristics of a dog and explained it very well to my family and I when we came to pick up Ghost. I loved that he welcomed us to join the picking up process. Anyone with children knows how hard it is to tell our children the do’s and don’t after the training period and I’m happy Henry was able to break it down to all of us because we were all extremely excited. Including Ghost. Ghost has learned so much and so have we. You can tell Ghost was trained with the best. Now it’s our turn to train and control ourselves at home to keep up with the process.
