Absolutely fantastic food and service! Couldn't have been more pleased with what we ordered and how we were treated. The brisket is my absolute favorite. Sweet baby Jesus this is some incredible barbecue. I recommend the loaded Mac with pulled pork, the beans are great, and I also got a half rack of ribs that fell off the bone. They have three types of sauce on the tables--spicy, bold + tangy, and original. Don't be afraid to be basic and get the original, it is packed with flavor and super dynamic. This place is the real deal. Coming from the Austin area, I've eaten amazing BBQ. Wright's hangs in there with the very best. Melt-in-your-mouth brisket, tender and perfectly smoked pork ribs, along with a wonderful cheddar-jalapeño sausage gave me a great sampling of the meats. Outstanding hole in the wall, well really old small house! Limited seating but picnic tables in the tent with heaters just contributed to the excellent bbq experience even in December. Be prepared to stand in line outside and perhaps make some new friends. I had the brisket plate with side of mac & cheese, smoked beans and an extra rib for good measure. Growing up in Texas and having been to all the hot bbq spots in central Texas, I was ecstatic to have found Wrights. Dare I say they have dethroned Franklins as my favorite brisket of all time! Anyone that has knocked them a star due to being out of meat should be banned from this place. That's just part of the process when you operate a quality BBQ establishment. Some of the best BBQ we’ve had since moving to Arkansas. The brisket had a good smoke ring and was easily cut with a plastic fork. The hubs had ribs that were delicious. Some of the best flavor and BBQ I've ever had. But I can't give it 5 stars because they were out of sausage and a few other items when I went. And unfortunately, that seems to be the theme with them. Always out of several items, so go early. They're proud of it too. I had a two-meat plate and a drink and it was $17. Seems a little high and you don't get your $$ worth on that price.
