Came in yesterday to watch the game and had a really great time! Service was absolutely stellar! Enjoyed 75 cent wings and they were good! I ended up getting 10 wings in the Sweet Fire flavor and I asked them to make them crispy! Could've been a tiny bit crispier on that first batch but my second batch was perfect! Hubby had wings as well and he enjoyed the flavors he got! We also partook in the bottomless deal which was $14 for mimosas, beermosas, and bloody Mary's. Yes, you could interchange them! We had a great time while visiting and it was a great atmosphere! Will definitely be returning again in the future! Check them out if your able! You won't be disappointed! More...

Went to World of Beer the other night with some friends and the service was fantastic. Really enjoyed sitting at the bar with my friends. I did not get a drink but did try a cider as I am not a big drinker. The food looked really good but I have not had their food yet. I saw that they have a brunch special and taco night that I am interested in trying. Definitely will be back More...

My go to meal whenever I go to is a pecan waffle with country ham. I really hate I didn't snap my photo before I ate. Not only was it the most beautiful waffle that has been prepared for me so far it was also the best tasting I've ever had. My "hat" goes off to the cook. 4 stars immediately for $2, well-poured mimosas and beermosas. That alone is with the trip! The food was pretty good. My eggs were not really cooked the way I asked but I still ate them (of course) It wasn't too crowded which was nice, I'm sure we'll be back!

I've been back to World of Beer several times since my review, and I have to say that they'd turned it around. Service is MUCH better these days-- in fact, it's not all that uncommon to tell the staff that you've already been helped. Whatever managerial decision was made back when, it's working.Food is still great as bar food goes and the beer selection is HUGE. TIP: Download their app. The printed menu only has the draft list and they no longer have iPads on the tables for access to their bottle menu, but the app still shows everything they have in stock. My husband and I have been here many times at various hours and on various days. The service is always great, the bartenders are attentive and helpful. The food is good, even their brunch options are great. I partook one the bottomless mimosa/beermosa/Bloody Mary brunch twice (you can switch back and forth between them). It was a fun novelty, but I prefer to order new beers that I haven't tried before! I routinely get several 5 oz pours of different beers since the restaurant is too far from my house to visit frequently. I definitely recommend! More...

This isn't my usual spot. Anything chain? Not usually my style. Beer? Also not usually my style. Needless to say, I went here on accident and I'm glad I did. On Mass Ave in Indianapolis, Indiana the world of beer location is in the CENTER of nightlife. They really nail the idea of special drinks / craft beers for everything for the price of cans. Between $3-5 dollars a glass I got to try a classic cider, raspberry cider, and excellent sour, and a bourbon infused, coffee beer. If you know me? You know this coffee beer really did me in. The food was also excellent. They have a diverse bar menu that doesn't feel tired or overplayed.So. Price? Great. Menu choices? Great. My one critique about this location was relatively slow service on the floor. The bar seemed quick, and food service was quick for those dining, but getting seats and drinks turned into a 3 hour experience which is probably double what it should've been. Overall? I'm not upset by this. Simply because it was a great place to chill, in a downtown location, right in the middle of all the action. More...

Tons of beer, games and space. This was a fun space! I like that they have little taster pours so you can try different varieties of all the beers on tap. The Oktoberfest beer they have right now is delicious!! The food was alright, the shrimp tacos were adequate but not something that I would crave? I was thinking I should have tried a flatbread instead. On Wednesday nights they are $2 off, and look fresh and tasty with arugula on top. The gigantic pretzels also looked delightful. I was a bit jealous of the hot tasty carbs coming to the other tables. We will def be back though Service seemed a little short staffed. We saw a table leave due to lack of service after coming in. Pretty good food, I've come here for a burger a couple of times. It's always super fresh, really good bread and a nice thick patty. Last time I came here my burger was a little dry but this hasn't been the case before so I think it was a one off type of thing. I'd still get one again. Now let's talk about the one thing I like better than my burger, the tots. Yeah. The tater tots here are incredible. I don't know what they do to them but it works wonders lol. Super crisp, not tooooo greasy, just enough salt and dumb fluffy potatoes inside. The buffalo chicken sandwich is decent but the buffalo sauce is super tangy so beware! More...

I would come here more often if parking was better because I love, LOVE, love their nachos. I first started coming here when I found out that they had a steak sandwich with goat cheese. Which is one of my favorite meals ever, but they discontinued it and replaced it with a French dip. The French dip is pretty good, but I miss the steak sandwich. The service is meh. Although anytime that I've had an issue, management has always stepped in to rectify the situation. I still feel that it shouldn't happen at all. I've had wait staff completely ignore me on multiple occasions. If it wasn't for the quality of the food, the stars would be a little different. I normally order take out for this reason. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't chime in on their selection. I'll keep going back for the nachos if nothing else. More...

This place is pretty cool. You wanna sit outside? They have outside seating. You wanna sit inside? Well they have that too. Now I went with my favorite sandwich when I came here to eat. That was a bold move on my part because no buffalo chicken sandwich can live up to my standards. World of beer managed to do a good job tho. An acquaintance I was with got a chicken burger that was undercooked the staff seemed annoyed when it was pointed out that the chicken was pink however they made another and took it off the bill which was incredibly kind and very appreciated. The staff also recommends beer to go with each food which was very dope for someone who likes to turn up as hard as I do. Overall pretty good. Would I come back maybe if I'm around it. I've been to other World of Beer locations, and this one is probably my favorite. Lots of space, ample natural light, a dart board area in the back, and clean restrooms. We enjoyed the feisty blonde and son of a baptist beer. Â Both were reasonably priced. Then we indulged and ordered the giant pretzel. Oh my! It is served hanging from a banana holder and it is awesome. I'm pretty sure you should share it amongst three or more, but my partner and I devoured it. The mustard is fine for dipping, but I highly recommend getting the beer cheese for some pizazz. So, so good.WOB is an easy place to hang out. We opted for bar seating and then walked over to the dart boards to play some games. They keep the darts on the wall. After our game, we went back to our spots and finished our beers. I too am surprised by the low overall rating and I'm gonna write it off to chronic gripers and competitors trying to take them down. I work in the area and I usually grab dinner at WOB every other week. The place has a very friendly vibe, the servers are all top-notch (if sometimes a little slow) and they have a nice selection of draft beers they say change daily. I sat at the bar just last night and counted at least 20 taps. But why I'm writing this is because a lot of places that specialize in booze suck at making good food. But that is not the case at WOB and I am here to tell you they have one of the best burgers in town. I always get it with garlic aioli and sweet potato fries. (The guy who said they were burnt also referred to "Phillips cheesesteaks" not Philly cheesesteaks so disregard him. He won't be back anyway nor will he be missed.)I love the burger so much I almost always get it. But last night I got the Steak Frites with a nice Belgian beer. Also, thank you, with garlic aioli. Very tasty. And no, please don't compare it to Morton's or someplace. Pre-tib tab? About 32 bucks. BTW, they also have a humongous pretzel if you like that sort of thing. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and ignore the grumpy idiots. Go in and have a burger. Is it the best one of all time? No, but it's damn good. I don't go back to places if the food isn't good. More...

World of Beer as an amazing selection of beers. They have iPads where you can look up their large selection by different categories! While their food fits perfectly for their bar atmosphere, I wouldn't go here specifically for the food. My boyfriend and I both ordered the Build Your Own Burger for $5, which is a special they have every Monday. It's a great deal, it starts off as just the burger and bun, then you chose a cheese, sauce and toppings, some of which are a little extra. The great part is that the burger is served with fries where most deals like this make you pay extra for them! The burger was very good but not something that I would pay the full price for. The patty wasn't made in house and neither were the fries and it's noticeable. They are still good but not the best. I mean...not sure why the reviews and rating is as bad as they are, we didn't have any issues at all. We wanted a place to watch the hockey game, we were in town from Columbus, Ohio for an anniversary long weekend trip. We just so happened to be staying right down the street from the arena, booked months before we made the playoffs and were playing IN Boston that weekend. However, we weren't going to pay their prices to go to the game. Haha. So we decided on World of Beer, despite the rating and reviews, because it was very close to our hotel (the Royale Sonesta) and because we knew the beer selection would be great. We sat at the bar, so we could be close to the TVs. We weren't planning to eat but after we saw and smelled the wings, we decided to give them a shot. The selection of beer was awesome. My husband is an avid craft beer guy and was happy to have such a great selection of local beers to try. We probably tried 5-6 different beers, draft and cans. I even had a local cider that was great. The wings were really good. We got the garlic Parmesan and a hot bbq. They weren't super large but the flavor was great. They made a nice game day snack.
