I would recommend Nancy Krank to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, capable, and supportive trainer. She is attentive to the personal situation of each of her trainees and tailors her workouts to take into account their individual needs. She pays close attention to her clients' medical situation and makes sure her workouts do not aggravate any strains, sprains, or aches . I had back surgery a few years ago and Nancy has been very careful to select exercises that strengthen and support but do not strain my lower back. I also appreciate very much that she is flexible and makes every effort to accommodate our sometimes unpredictable schedules. Q&As

There are a lot of factors that go into reaching a fitness goal. I look at health and fitness histories, lifestyle, current work schedule, time availability, stressors that my impact goal, etc. I work with my clients to come up with a plan to succeed at there fitness goals taking into account all the above mentioned factors. I design a program with a complete understanding of my client's needs.

The secret to getting the body of your dreams is by embracing the body, loving who you are at this moment, and continually working to keep that body fit and healthy.

I'm one of those people who love being in the background and letting my clients shine. I love helping people reach their fitness goals. Mostly though, I enjoy making the differences that you can't see. For example, helping a client strengthen muscles and lessen back pain. Being able to improve a clients fitness level so that they can enjoy and active lifestyle and/or so that they can participate in activities that they were not able to do before is what I love about this job.

In highschool I injured my shoulder during swim team practice. My sister showed me an article in which Mike Scioscia of the Los Angeles Dodgers had the same injury and weight trained to rehab and heal. So I joined a gym and followed a similar program and was instantly hooked with working out. Of course I had no idea what I was doing and was fortunate to not make my injury worse. At that moment I liked the idea of improving a persons quality of life and making a positive impact on there fitness level. Now, 25 years later, I'm still doing what I love....but I now have the training and skills, along with an Orthopedic Exercise Specialty to now help individuals as a trained professional.

Personalities make a big difference in this business. When you are looking for a trainer, you should ask a lot of questions and take the time to find out if your personalities are a good fit. You should choose me if you feel my experience and services matches your fitness needs. For example, if you want to look like a picture you cut out of a magazine, I'm not the right trainer for you. If you need specialty training, for example, training to run a marathon, I'd recommend you train with someone who has that specialty. If you want to improve balance, core, and strength, I'm the trainer for you. If you have orthopedic challenges or are pre or post natal, I'm your trainer. I'm the trainer for you if my specialties and training programs are a right fit for you.

I've been providing my services remotely as part of my main training business. I train clients all around the United States via FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams. Remote training allows me to be more flexible with my scheduling due to not having to factor in travel time. I work with other time zones so feel free to contact me even if you are outside of the Pacific Time Zone :)

To keep my customers safe I have followed the direction/recommendations from County of Los Angeles Public Health Department, State of California, and CDC. I have a Safety Compliance Certificate and I've developed WorkoutStyles Covid-19 Guidelines for Safe Training which can be viewed on the home page of my website www.workout-styles.com. It gives you a complete listing of all the measures I take to keep my clients safe from Covid-19 during their sessions.

Services

It can feel overwhelming trying to regain function and return to normal movement after and orthopedic injury or while dealing with a chronic orthopedic condition. As an ACE Orthopedic Exercise Specialist I will be able to help you regain function and return to normal movement. I'll be able to train you to improve function, mobility, stability and strength, with a goal of less pain, improved health, and better quality of life. Whether you want to jump back into an exercise regiment quickly or you find yourself too afraid to move because of fear of re-injury, As a personal trainer, I'll be able to help you. From safely guiding your fitness program to alleviating the anxiety of beginning a recovery program, my program will incorporate all components of an effective program in a stress free environment.

Physical activity in pregnancy has minimal risks and has been shown to benefit most women, although some modification to exercise routines may be necessary because of normal anatomic and physiologic changes and fetal requirements. As a mom and certified trainer with a pre/post natal specialty I look forward to guiding you through your fitness journey during this special time in your life.
