How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
When clients sign up for Virtual or 1:1 Personal Training we have an initial consultation to discuss goals. I tailor client exercise programs to their individual goals, taking into account their schedule and equipment they have access to either in the gym or at home. We have weekly check-ins to discuss any issues or questions they may have which assists me in creating the following week's workouts to attain the desired results. The virtual programs I have created proceed depending on the group they are designed for. For example, the 55+ and High Blood Pressure Series is low impact with no floor work, and is designed to not necessarily increase in workload, but to combat the effects of aging on the body. The Beginner Series is low impact which is designed for individuals without an active background or those who are overweight. This program gradually increases in intensity to help clients build up to 1:1 Training or the 6 Week Online Fitness Challenge which increases in intensity much more rapidly. Whatever the client's goals may be, whether it's weight loss, toning and building lean muscle, or increasing strength, we achieve these goals together.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistency. The hardest part of changing your body composition is having the patience to wait for visible results. This is not something that happens overnight and there are no quick fixes in creating a sustainable life change. However, if you consistently choose to move your body you will be able to attain the results you desire.
What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love helping my clients realize that fitness, health, and living and active lifestyle are so much more than just getting in great shape. I look at health as all encompassing in life and I love listening to my clients explain how much fitness benefits their mental health as well as their physical health. It's so wonderful to watch their hard work and consistency pay off in ways they never imagined it could.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I spent the last 10 years sitting behind a computer feeling like I was wasting my life because the work I was doing benefitted no one. I finally took the plunge to get my certification and leave the corporate world, and have not looked back. I absolutely love working with people, helping them to create sustainable life changes and live happier, healthier lives. I am currently working on my Yoga Teacher Training and Nutrition Certifications so I can expand my business and the effects that I can have on people's lives.

Virtual Class Monthly Membership
If you are looking for a good introduction on how Work It With Jess functions, this is the perfect membership for you. The only equipment required are resistance bands and a yoga mat.
Virtual Personal Training
Don't have the time or funds to attend in-person training sessions? No problem! This option gives you the ability to have a personalized training program that you can complete any time, any place. After an initial virtual consultation, you will have a weekly training program designed just for you depending on your individual goals and equipment. All workouts will be loaded into the Work It With Jess App and will increase in difficulty and intensity as your body allows. This program is tailored for beginners and individuals who may have taken a break from an active lifestyle. This is a 12 Week Program that consists of 3 weekly workouts via the Work It With Jess App. Required equipment include resistance bands, a 9 inch Pilates ball, and a yoga mat. The Beginner Series is low impact, which is perfect for those who are overweight or may have joint issues. This program starts at the very beginning and gradually increases in difficulty and intensity. It's a great way to start out in the privacy of your home, and helps you to create a healthy lifestyle change!
Virtual 55+ and High Blood Pressure Series
This program is tailor made for those over the age of 55 and individuals with High Blood Pressure. This is a 12 Week Program that consists of 3 weekly workouts via the Work It With Jess App, is low impact and has no floor work. Required equipment include resistance bands and a 9 inch exercise ball. The 55+ and High Blood Pressure Series is a great way to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle, even if you are starting out later in life. 1:1 Virtual Personal Training
With advances in technology and restrictions of COVID, we are able to get more creative when it comes to in-person training. This is a strictly virtual One-On-One Personal Training Program, that I tailor specifically to your individual goals and equipment. We will train in person 1 session per week, and each session will last approximately 60 minutes. Depending on your goals and time constraints, you will have 2-3 additional workouts via the Work It With Jess App, providing you with a complete training program designed just for you. 6 Month Membership and Month-to-Month Memberships available.
