This was one of my husbands and my favorite spots until yesterday when we brought some family from out of town here for dinner. The Food (fries and sweet potato fries)were undercooked, some meat was cold, some meat was dry and it had to be taken off of the sandwich. Pork rinds were hard. We had a table of six and only 1 person had acceptable food. Waitress was good and offered us free dessert that we declined. The manager invited herself to our table and was rude and pushy and defensive. She Informed us she knew some of our food was not acceptable when it was served to us but never apologized for it. She argued with us about the food even though we paid our bill and never asked to speak with her. The food was bad but the management was worse. I Would never spend my money here again. More...

We’ve eaten there several times and it was pretty good at first. The last time we ate there, I was not impressed with the quality/serving temp of the food and said I wouldn’t eat there again. I did give it a try again on Sunday, to give them the benefit of the doubt (may have been an off day), but we we’re still disappointed. They were out of ribs and another major item meat, so we ordered something else. The burnt ends were mostly fat pieces and not really burnt; also served at room temperature; not hot. The child’s chicken tenders were very well done (looked like chicken livers); brisket was cold, macaroni and cheese and Brussels sprouts were not hot. Very disappointed AGAIN! Will not be back! Stopped in today on our way from Florida to home in Tennessee. This place is amazing. The brisket french dip is on point! The Fried Green Tomato plate appetizer was heavenly . Perfectly fried, topped with pulled pork and on a bed of the most delicious pimento cheese! The sweet mustard bbq sauce is SOOOO good! Next time we come through, I'm bringing a jar so I can bring some home! Stop here. Make a special trip to eat here, you will not be disappointed.
