Evacuated to the woodlands from Nola due to Hurricane Ida. We decided we wanted BBQ one night before heading back to clean up our property. Walked into this establishment at 7:00 on Saturday night September 4. We were greeted by a gentleman telling us what they do not have . " Let me start off by saying we are out of Ribs, brisket, chicken , pulled pork and we have very few sides left." I asked if they were closing and he replied "in an hour" . My friend asked what do they have and proceeded to tell him all we want is two plates of BBQ. He raised the covers and I leaned my head over and to see 3 whole brisket in his dispenser along with several portions of pulled pork and other items I could not make out. By this time I was annoyed because all we wanted were 2 plates to go but we got was a negative attitude. My friend order a small portion of pulled pork and we left. We decided to go down the street to another BBQ establishment where we were treated with open arms and no negative attitude. Maybe this person needs another job or work the early shift if he does not want to work or earn an extra tip. Let me tell y’all, if you like good barbecue, this is the place! Their Q is delicious, not to much smoke, just the right amount, every time. The brisket is some of best I’ve ever had, and the sausage, wow, just wow! Sides are great and fresh. The staff is the best!

A little side note, if they have beef ribs available, grab one or two, you won’t be disappointed!! More...

Woodall's has become our default bbq restaurant choice. The beef rib literally falls off the bone, the brisket has crispy but juicy and tender all at once, we don't even like sausage that much but we order sausage here every time because it's that good, the mac-n-cheese is so cheesy and has a crispy baked topping, potato salad isn't too potato salady, and the desserts. ...oh the desserts.
