Hi! I'm Grace, a Holistic Life Coach. My specialty is empowering people to shift from living from a fragmented to a whole and authentic version of themselves. Integrating consciousness (awareness), mind, body, emotions and energy.
Throughout our lives, we create many different ways of protecting ourselves from pain.
One way to do that is to suppress or reject parts of ourselves that make others uncomfortable in order to get our basic needs met (such as love, acceptance, connection, care, safety, etc.). As children we will choose attachment to others over authenticity in order to survive. We may continue to make similar choices even as adults. The parts of us which get locked away become our shadow aspects. They are always with us but can become very elusive to our consciousness until we make them conscious again.
Another way for us to protect is to create masks, armor and weapons to shield or fight against anything that comes near these shadows or wounds. In order to conserve energy, these become automated and unconscious deep within us. Oftentimes, we don’t realize how much these run our lives. It becomes the underlying programming which influences how we relate to ourselves and others.
Do you have patterns in your behaviors or relationships but don’t know why you continually end up in similar situations? How many of your decisions and behaviors are based in fear? Do you feel or have you been told that you’re too much (too deep, too sensitive, too intense, too…) so found ways to make yourself smaller in order to feel safe, loved and accepted?
My role is to help you discover what is part of your core, authentic design and what is learned programming/conditioning from childhood, relationships, school, society, etc. We will work together to free yourself of the conditioning that no longer serves you and move into growth and expansion into your authentic power. As you let go of things that have been holding you back, your gifts and authentic self will naturally start to rise to the surface.
My framework includes:
1) Cultivating awareness
2) Acceptance of all of our parts
3) Release of the limiting beliefs, unhealthy behavioral/thought patterns and suppressed emotions
4) Growth and expansion.
Think of working with me as a safe and supportive space to learn and experiment with who you were always meant to be but weren’t allowed to be. I am here to guide and help clear your path of all the debris from past wounds and conditioning to find your way back to yourself and to transform your shadows into gifts.
I have been able to transform my own life from a life of trauma, fear, limits, stress and survival to a life of more freedom, joy, peace, authenticity and acceptance. As challenging as it can be sometimes, especially at the beginning, it has also been the most beautiful journey of my life. My passion is to help others on their own unique and beautiful journeys.
My own life experiences, both personal and professional (includes leadership and analyst positions in the corporate world, with multi-year and multi-system technical projects where I was a lead analyst), along with my coaching and Reiki training contribute to the wide array of tools and skills I bring to coaching. I may also bring in aspects of Human Design if it feels right. I am an Enneagram Type 5, Human Design energy profile and type is a 4/1 Splenic Manifestor with open Solar Plexus (empath) and Sacral (sensitive to energy) centers. If you’re interested in your Human Design or Enneagram information, we can definitely bring that into your sessions as well. Human Design is a synthesis of ancient spirituality and modern sciences, and is a valuable tool to discover key aspects of your true nature for you to experiment with. It has a level of detail, depth and accuracy which is very interesting. Enneagram is a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people interpret the world, manage their emotions and relate to others.
