Jasmine had been doing my hair in Tampa for years, so when she moved to Asheville, I just had to wait it out and visit! I have naturally wavy/curly hair, and I hadn’t met anyone else who could cut and lighten my hair while maintaining its integrity before her. My shag grows out effortlessly, and my color stays gorgeous for months with little maintenance on my end. She’s worth the wait and travel, I’ll absolutely be back! I cannot believe my experience at this salon. I saw Jasmine once and she did an amazing job on my hair, though complained a couple times about the thickness of my hair and the time it took. Nonetheless, she did an awesome job, so 8 weeks later, I rebooked to go more blonde. The second time was not so great (and consistency is important right??). She agreed that the color wasn’t great and put me on the schedule for 5 days later. The day before our appointment, she texted and cancelled our appointment, saying she was sick. I definitely cared for her well-being and told her I’d be praying for her and hope she gets better soon. I then texted her 5 days later and asked how she’s feeling. I never heard back. I’m also 9 months pregnant with a baby coming any day and did want my hair fixed, so I contacted the salon 3 days later and asked them if she was still sick or in the office, “Sick?? Nope, she’s been working! She did have a friend in town last week...”. Oh. So, now I feel lied to by her and not a priority. I asked if they had another stylist to do a color correct, so they put me on Donna’s books. Oh Donna. She has 30 years of experience in the field and she knew of my experience with Jasmine. I think they might be buds. I showed her a Pinterest picture of what I wanted for my hair...an icy blonde with a natural root that wasn’t much further from my current color. She told me that would take too long for today, but said she’d do as much as she could to get me there within my budget. I trusted her. Fast forward 3 hours when I’m done blow drying. This was the hard part. She told me she’d put a cool toned level 7 blonde...natural looking, right?? To help cancel out the brassiness from Jasmine. Did she put that color? Nope!! She put on a DARK NAVY-TEAL “toner” on my hair!! “Oh, it’ll fade in a couple weeks after washing to a grayish color. It looks cool, doesn’t it??” I was in shock, but hopeful...maybe? I didn’t go crazy on her. I believed her. She said if I didn’t like it, I could wash it out with Dawn dish soap and I kid you not, she charged me $225. Today, I tried the Dawn dish soap and I had washed my hair. I cried because it made me look like a witch!! I then realized what she put in my hair wasn’t toner! She most likely put Demi-permanent or PERMANENT hair color on my hair!! Don’t ever trust those stylists to do your hair! I was kind to them, pleasant, had given Jasmine decent tips initially and was super laid back with them, even when the outcome wasn’t what I wanted. Now, $375 dollars later, my hair looks like CRAP and is super damaged and horrible!! I don’t go to Sally’s and do my own hair because I trust stylists and don’t want to color correct. Now? I’d almost go to Sally’s because those two absolutely ruined my hair. Don’t trust them with your hair unless you know and trust your stylist. My experience was absolutely mortifying! More...

amanda penland did an amazing job with my hair today! she did excellent quality in a small amount of time..my roots were terrible months grown out my blue tips were faded and she styled it and everyone else there was so nice and the environment is relaxed. i will definitely be going back!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Willow's Dream ... especially stylist Amanda Penland. She is SUPER talented and one of the kindest and most genuine souls I have met. I am always relaxed and comfortable when I sit in her chair, and she interprets the look you want to suit you justtt perfectly. I have gotten my hair done regularly in NYC as well as DC, and Amanda is right on top with the stylists I had in both places. Amanda is a true artist! I will most definitely be back! She highlighted, toned and trimmed my hair adding the perfect flair of pink. ..I've never been so happy with a stylist and the end result in my life! Fairy Hair sesion with Amanda- We called every salon offering fairy hair and Willows Dream said theyd have a possible cancelation theyd let us know as soon as they knew for sure, well as luck would have it we got the spot we enjoyed our time with Amanda and love the boutique the cost was more than reasonable thanks so much

I've gone to Willow's Dream twice for corrective color and I've learned my lesson and will not go anywhere else again! Most recently, I went to Jasmine and she was amazing! She was so meticulous and hard working. I have a lot of hair, but that didn't stop her from taking her time and she didn't rush through. My hair looks great and it feels great. When I made my appointment, I just made it with someone on the website, not really knowing about any of the stylists, they called me and asked if I was OK with being changed to someone else (Jasmine) because from my description, she would be the best. I love that they know their stylists strengths and play to that. I can't say enough good things about this salon! More...
