WOW, what a wonderful day! I was so pleased with everything the day of my daughter’s shower. The Woods Room and deck transformed into a beautiful, peaceful space to host a baby shower. The luncheon was delicious; appetizers, dessert and the choice of the Chicken/Portabello Stack and Pittsburgh Salad were perfect for a gathering of this size. Additionally appreciated was the staff and the service provided from our initial meeting through the table service day of. Francesca and Jessica considered all of my requests, from room set-up to specialty cocktail selection to menu choices and even hanging baskets on the deck and made them possible! The waitstaff during the shower were totally professional and inconspicuous, which contributed to the peaceful mood! Willow was a special and wonderful venue for my daughter’s baby shower and would be equally as memorable for a bridal rehearsal dinner, birthday or anniversary party or any event that you want to have handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Very good food. I have only visited once, and I was on a date so I was maybe more focused on the girl than the food. Throw in a couple drinks (very good bar/cocktail options), and I was distracted, to say the least. That said, we sat out on the patio, which had a very nice ambiance and is a good spot for a date, weather permitting of course. We were one of the last tables sat for the evening, mid-week, and even though we didn't finish until after closing, the service was very good the entire time. My family has returned to Willow many times over the past few years for special occasions. Each time we come we always have an excellent meal. The wait staff is always very knowledgeable and they do a great job of providing suggestions. I always appreciate that they remain inventive with their dishes without going too far left field. Their crab cakes are always out of this world and the preparation of their meat dishes are second to none. Personally, I highly enjoyed the foie gras but I also had a taste of their stuffed Cornish hen which was phenomenal as well. I can also say with assurance that once you try their scallops, you will never want to have one cooked any other way. I took a bite of the kid’s menu burger as I couldn’t resist and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous. I also appreciate that their menu changes often. Some do not agree with the changes from time to time but the mainstays never leave the menu. The service, food and atmosphere at the Willow make any occasion an experience to remember. Casual enough for jeans and a nice shirt, dressy enough for formal wear. The wait staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere makes you feel comfortable and cozy with a fireplace to warm you in the winter months and doors that open to a patio to let inside meet the outside in the warmer months. And the food...the food is out of this world! The menu offers something for every palate, plus they feature two or three specials every night. What they do, they do to perfection. I must recently went here for brunch, but have also been for dinner and happy hour. The drinks are great (craft cocktails). The food is very good too, but slow to come out of the kitchen. I've been to Willow quite some time ago and was recently there for brunch. The brunch menu was nice and not too long but still had variety. I ordered the fancy toast which I asked for with no bacon and it came out with bacon so I kindly asked for it to be remade. Leah (our waitress) and someone a believe to be the manager (though I did not catch her name) were more upset about the mistake than I was and quickly remedied the situation and also brought some fruit for me to snack on while I waited.
