The Willow Room is a wonderful experience for anyone who is looking for more than just a haircut or hair styling. They have created a very cool, relaxing space where you are likely to get a glass of wine or beer along with a scalp and/or hand massage along with everything else.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Amanda is fabulous. She’s seen me through a botched “professional” haircut as well as an attempt to trim my own hair. My hair always looks great after she’s finished. Since I have a pixie, it can be stressful getting cut by a new stylist since there’s not a lot of room for error if it’s a bad cut. I never had that feeling with Amanda. She totally put my mind at ease. She has both a calming presence and a good sense of humor. I actually enjoy talking with her during the cut when that’s the part I dread most about haircuts. Don’t even get me started on the head massage (done in sweet, sweet silence) and hand/arm massage. I love this place! The atmosphere alone makes me feel renewed and pampered. Being there is more like being at an exclusive spa than a typical salon. I have had nail services done by Deb and she makes me feel like I am with a dear friend who just so happens to be an amazing artist! Her attention to detail and personal preferences will always keep me coming back. I should mention that my nails had "issues" from past experiences with nail salons and now my nails look better than I ever dreamed possible! I actually get compliments on how healthy and pretty they look which is something I didn't think could ever be possible with these hands! This place is run by an absolutely wonderful human being. They do hair for EVERYONE - and they're absolute pros. I've never found a salon I'd repeat before Willow Room - now I recommend it to everyone I know.

I went to Amanda to have color correction and it came out beautiful! I have dyed my hair black for years and wanted a lighter color, darker red if it was possible. She was able to take a lot of the black out and put red in. It ended up blending very well with red hi lights and low lights where the black lifted less. She took the time to consult with the managing stylist/owner and it came out better than i could have hoped. Cute little salon with very personable staff. I'll be back again! More...
