I lead clients through a questionnaire to help identify their needs and desires. I begin the design process by identifying their main design style, followed by more specific aesthetic preferences and finally by articulating their design project with key design descriptors. So an easy formula: Style + Aesthetic + Descriptors = Uniquely You

I have the ability of accomplishing any of the three major styles listed. In any project I do, I look at the space holistically to see how be optimize the best energy flow through applying practical Feng Shui principles. Most clients may not realize that Feng Shui is already happening all around you. I help to tune in to how spaces can work better and "feel" more inviting.

While these styles can overlap, there's usually a leading design style.
Many homes will fall into these three categories:
1 - CLASSIC including: Traditional | Formal
2 - MODERN including: Mid-Century | Contemporary | Soft Modern | Glam
3 - CASUAL including: Easy Living | Natural | Rustic

I love seeing the effusive emotional excitement from clients who have gone through their own transformation even as their space transforms. I also enjoy how the layering of design elements help brings a space to life. I believe that a home should be the background for life's best moments to take center stage. For this to occur, the space has to be functional and versatile enough to accommodate the needs of a client and not lay beholden to design for design's sake.

I love the creative renewal I get from travel (both near and far) and how travel helps influence my design projects - anything from seeing hand-painted tiles from Portugal or even the majestic beauty of a towering butte in Utah and its blazing colors at sunset. I wanted to help inspire clients to realize that we sometimes appreciate home more fully when we have opportunities to go somewhere else exploring life's beauty. It's when we return from those experiences with stories and memories that we fill our personal spaces with objects, artifacts and mementos that allow us to create spaces that's more personal and meaningful.

I connect well with well-traveled individuals who are looking to create environments imbued with balance and harmony. I observe and actively listen to more deeply understand how clients wish to inhabit their spaces. The western practice of BTB Feng Shui and the concept of positive energy flow are inherently important on projects. I look to work with clients who also value or are open to applying practical Feng Shui principles. I believe creating refined design with positive energy flow creates greater opportunities for prosperity and positivity in the homes of clients.

Yes, I can provide interior design services online and remotely via Zoom. I can not do renovation work, however, through an online platform as that level of work requires precision and often includes the expertise of a general contractor.

I can provide virtual design consultations as well as E-Design project work via remote or online Zoom. Once we establish the parameters of the project, I can help determine the best route for conducting our design meeting, project exchange and payment.

I practice Covid-19 safety procedures beginning with mask wearing at all times, hand-washing and hand sanitizing steps while on the project premises. I also carry a digital thermometer to take readings to relay to team. I also have taken rapid testing to maximize safety and to ease concerns both personally and for the benefit of clients.
