Wildwood offers a great setting for safe and comfortable dining. The outdoor patio is a really pleasant dining area for enjoying Chef Willy's excellent food. This was my first time ordering from here. I ordered their Mother's Day special.. Prime Rib, mashed potatoes with veggies. Also came with a side salad and a slice of key lime pie. All I can say is Absolutely Amazing! The only downfall was I couldn't enjoy it in the restaurant due to COVID-19. But the food was incredible. This place is great!  We did our company Christmas luncheon here and the food and service was excellent.  The fish tacos were tasty, as was the fish and chips.  There were choices on the menu for many different tastes.  If you want a fantastic, homemade, key lime pie, this is the place.  Also had a tasty creme brûlée that uses Mexican chocolate.  They have a lot of fun things going on in the evenings too - karaoke , live music, trivia, and a cozy bar with a fireplace.  All of which is separate from the dining area if you are just there for the good food. We stopped in here after a movie matinee...a quiet late afternoon. We were fans of the old La Paloma Restaurant. Lovely experience with Jeannie at the bar! Did the New Years Eve special.  $75.00 per couple, included a choice of salads, a steak, chicken or fish entree, a bottle of wine and 5 hours of amazing live music by the Urban Gypsy' s to bring in the new year.  Wow, was that a steal!  The Chefs selections were cooked to perfection, mashed potatoes and a veggie included, plenty of food.  The salads were fantastic, especially the Caesar.   There was a choice of wines as well, ours was very enjoyable, so enjoyable that we had to order another!  We've been here before and have always had great food.  The staff is always nice and truly work hard to make you happy.  The entertainment fantastic and makes for a wonderful night out.  This place is a hidden gem! This place is . The wings are amazing, crispy and perfectly sauced.  I ordered the salmon dish and it was the best I've ever had! I'm not normally a fish person but I ordered it on a whim while trying  to be health conscious and it was amazing! No skin and no fishy taste, just perfection. My husband got the prime rib which is a great deal for the price compared to other steak places and he really enjoyed his. We went to Wildwood Crossing for lunch on Sunday.  The food was delicious. My daughter had the signature burger and was so impressed we ordered another one to take home. I had the manager recommended Chile relleno and was very satisfied. This place is tucked away and we passed it the first time. If you do the same, turn around and go back. Best risotto I have ever eaten. Seriously, I dream about it! They've had some necessary staff turn-over and growing pangs and they had a rough beginning when the new owners took over, but I feel like they are finally finding their groove. They certainly get 5 stars for effort. The new head chef is amazing! Drinks are delicious, the music is great, and the menu is much improved. It's good quality food at reasonable prices. Service can still be hit or miss but management seems to know about it and are working to improve every day. I really hope they are hugely successful because it's a terrific combination. In a town filled with pubs and breweries, it's nice to have better quality food and an outstanding music scene - plus, the world would be abysmal without that risotto! More...

My favorite place for Sunday brunch and Thursday Karaoke.  I don't sing but it is a lot of fun to watch.  The food never disappoints.  Especially when they have the Chile Rellanos on special.  Their champagne is delicious and a great price for bottomless mimosas.  Staff is always very nice and it's fun to run into the same people there all the time.The Risotto is tasty too! This is the first time for us at Wildwood Crossings. We are out of towners, coming from Valley Center and Orange County. There were six in our party and we were there almost 4 hrs for lunch. It took us a little time to get our food but it was well worth waiting for. I had the 3 pork belly tacos with black beans. It was delicious and I would order it again. I have to admit I have been apprehensive about throwing down a review here because I love going there, and I love the staff but the food has always been somewhat hit or miss. I didn't want to dis them so just refrained from writing a review.So check it out, they had a star in their kitchen the whole time. Now they have realized it, and I hope dividends begin to pay off soon because my man Willy is killin it!! THE BEST FUCKING CHILE RELLENO I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! Unfortunately it's not a permanent item, and I get it those things are a pain in the ass. Maybe we will be lucky enough to get it once a week, but if not it will be ok because since Willy took over all of the food has significantly stepped up.Hopefully word gets out, and these guys start making some dough.
