The only thing keeping this gem from five stars is that they fall down on desserts. They would benefit from a Southern pastry chef who could set them up with pies and cobblers. The selection is consistently heavy, bland, soggy pastry. The good news is the barbecue is top notch and for real, and the specials are creative and on point. We stopped here for something new. Never been here before. We were very delighted with the choices on the menu and variety of meals. I had the single beef rib with mashed potatoes and homemade gravy. It was tender and full of flavor.My husband had the southern fried chicken sandwich. It came on a toasted roll with in house BBQ sauce, potato salad as a side with cornbread. Was looking for a BBQ place cause I worked all day on July 4th.
Found Wildwood on google & from just looking at the pictures on here I had to give it a try.
I was not disappointed. I had the BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich Carolina Style, & added the Spicy BBQ sauce (which isn't that spicy, but it's good). The food was made fresh, meat was juicy & tender.
Also tried one of the 16 Craft beer on tap. I'm not much of a Craft beer kind of guy, but the BBC Steel Rail Pole Ale was good. An A Ginger Beer.
I have already recommended this place to my buddy & he lives in Houston, TX. I am a Truck Driver & I live in Ga, but I will come back next time I'm in town for sure. Thanks Wildwood for the delicious lunch

Went for the $17 weekend brunch and basically just ate brisket till I was ready to pop. I had a visible brisket baby by the time I was done. It was an amazing experience and totally worth the meat sweats I had for the next 3 hours. I can highly recommend that you do that as well. The house made bacon and brisket hash were amazing, as was the shrimp grits, but I'd advise skipping everything and going right for the brisket, continue eating brisket until you have surpassed $17 dollars worth, then feel great about the deal you got and spend the next 6 hours napping in a pool and contemplating your life and what lead you to take the word of an internet stranger and consume that much meat. Wow! We came for brunch on a Sunday (they do a buffet) as our first visit, and we were blown away! All the meats were delicious, as are their bbq sauces. They also make baked goods and they were staggeringly good. I'd recommend their pulled pork, fried chicken, brisket, and any of their brownies. Seriously, check this place out! Recently stopped. I was looking for bbq and is one of the better places in the pioneer Valley for bbq. Actually had the beef brisket tacos and boy they were great. Tender with great flavor and the light coleslaw on top the was refreshing made this the perfect after Thanksgiving meal. Filled me up without weighing me down. The restaurant had an inviting aroma when one walks in. The 30 minute wait to receive my beef brisket, pulled pork and ribs was well worth the wait.
