Wicked Pups Dog Training

Before starting w/ Wicked Pups our dog Cassidy had already worked with a few different trainers but Justin was definitely the best fit for us all. His techniques were simple but effective without a lot of the fluff and he could always explain the "why" of his methods.
He taught us really useful tools that we still use every day. Like how to show Cass the difference between
" play time" , "obedience time" & "Mommy's busy time". This means if he's not in obedience he's free to play & be a dog, but if I need his full attention, I can get him to snap in to obedience right away. Now he understands when I give a command, play time is over until I release him again.
Also at home, if I say we are "done playing". He now knows that's it for a while, and is no longer pestering me relentlessly.l to play.

These trainers are Uber talented. They put in the work to make sure both you and your dog have the tools for success and deal with practical everyday issues. The changes we saw from their ONLEASH training program after just 3 sessions was pretty dramatic. We originally started training with just one of our dogs in the beginning but then ended up enrolling all three of our dogs in private sessions. We love our dogs but admittedly they had some pretty obnoxious tendencies that we never could address. But by the time we finished training it was almost like we traded in those dogs for
ones that compete for our attention in much healthier ways and can actually understand what we want. There is nothing better than being able to communicate and build trust in your dogs and them in you.

We can't thank Justin from Wicked Pups Dog Training enough for the remarkable training he provided to our husky Dizzy! From the moment we started the sessions, it was evident that Justin truly understands dogs and their behavior. He patiently worked with Dizzy and tailored the training to her d specifically.
Under Justin's guidance, Dizzy's progress was remarkable. We rescued her a couple months prior, were she had been living on the street. Before begining her training we were seriously considering returning her to the shelter because in public she would honestly act like some kind of feral creature. She was severely reactive, with resource guarding behavior that seemed to be escalating . However, now her behavioral issues have improved significantly, and she's is a happier and a much better behaved dog. We truly appreciate Justin's patience and his high amount of dedication throughout the training process.

Let’s just say Wicked Pups was a total game-changer for us. I'd adopted Marlin at 18 months and he was such a manic that my attempt at formal treat-training was a non-starter . .. He couldn't focus long enough to even think about a treat.
There seemed to me nothing I could do to get his attention.
At my wits' end, I decided to meet with Justin and was convinced after the consultation that it was the way to go.
I can't believe the change. Marlin actually listens to me, comes to me while off-leash, even while tempted to chase a squirrel! I feel like we are communicating now and have a close bond.
Justin has come to the house to work with me on Marlin’s turf and they have so much fun. At family “get togethers” I’m a proud Dad .. my family has been amazed at the transformation.

It may seem a little more expensive than say other Pet Store dog training programs, but for us those were a complete waste of time & $$. At least with this, the results are actually real, and worth it! And it's a method I'll be able to use again, and again to teach him new things.
