Q&As

Which Job? Do you mean Audio Engineering? or Production? or Mixing, or Arranging and Composing? I guess I love them all equally. The object is to use all the tools at one's disposal to create a one-of-a-kind piece that not only shows what the artist is trying to say, but does it in such a way that it becomes better than just good.

I've pretty much been my own boss since the 80's. I've not only worked in but managed (and sometimes built) major studios from one coast to another. What started it all was the notion that I could not only write, but produce music, and collaborate on the end product to make it better.

Having been a musician, songwriter, composer and arranger all my life I know what it takes to build a song into a stunning composition. I also know what NOT to add. I try to get what's in the artist's head onto the track. The same goes for video editing and production.

I have plenty of cloud server space so my clients can upload their tracks, videos, or whatever, for me to work on at home. Using a variety of the industry's best apps, I know I can produce the results you're looking for.

Well, if they stay at home and send me the tracks to work on, Covid-19 doesn't even enter into it. On set, I follow the client's lead and abide by what they feel most comfortable with.

Services

I started out on Adobe Premiere in 1994 and have been using it ever since. I've also edited in Avid, Sony Vegas, as well a several lesser known NLEs. I've done commercials, PSAs, Special effects, Intros, music videos, and TV shows.
I also produced and edited my own TV show in Phoenix for several seasons. I use whichever app fits to get the job done, including 3D animation, After Effects, and generative A.I.

As a videographer I've done almost 25 years of work in various fields. I've shot weddings and Bar Mitzvahs, Military ceremonies, Music Videos, Interviews, as well as several TV shows, including my own, Destination Arizona. I've worked on everything from shorts to movies and everything in between. I have a great eye for composition and a steady hand with a camera.

I started using Pro-tools in 1992, having already had multiple world-class 24-track facilities. I also taught audio and digital music production in L.A.
I have written and produced music for National Geographic movies, NPR, my own TV show (Destination Arizona) and a host of small movies and soundtracks.
