Loved finding this little gem tucked right off the main drag, but by no means out of the way. Clean and earthy minimalist atmosphere, and someone running the front (the owner, I think) who really cares about food and the quality of her ingredients. I ordered the buffalo sandwich which, as noted by the owner, had a kick. Loved the flavors, and a hidden highlight was the side salad- not sure what balsamic dressing it was, but I enjoyed it a lot. I also ordered the vegan quinoa mac n cheese, which had great flavor, but not a lot of gooey goodness going on like I anticipated (but a menu without pictures may lead to such mistaken assumptions). Stumbled upon this place while in town. This spot is very endearing and has a down to earth, non pretentious vibe. Everything on the menu is super healthy and clean. If you like "healthy bowl" options, I think you'll like what they offer at Whole Harvest. It's a cozy space that can't accommodate larger groups, but food comes out quickly, and it's a somewhat relaxing place compared to the hubbub of lower Caroline Street. A plus: You can opt for favoring grains vs. greens in your bowl. Another plus: Death Wish Coffee brewed to order (okay, k-cup, but that's ok). Bad luck if you want some dairy for it though, it's vegan here, so your choices are almond milk, cashew milk, drink it black or sneak in your own cream, I guess. My kimchee bowl had a nice variety of flavors and textures. I would have been okay with it even being slightly spicier, but that's why there's a bottle of sriracha on the table. When thinking about what you get here, keep in mind that they're providing food with intent, and doing so in a space in one of the more prominent areas of downtown Saratoga, so kudos to them for being able to make that happen. It's hard to find good food when you're on vacation, it's also even harder to find great vegan food! This place is a GEM for vegans and non vegans alike! First visit to Whole Harvest. I got a Cobb salad and husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich- his came w small side of greens w balsamic. Both were delicious. the salad had a good ratio of greens to toppings, was the perfect size and I love how they smeared the avocado spread around the bowl so it mixed well w the greens. the sandwich was made w local bread and the buffalo sauce was spicy but not overly so. I was visiting from out of town and needed a quick soup & salad before I hit the road. The service was efficient and yet still delivered a healthy & hearty meal. The longest part of the process was figuring out what I wanted because everything looked so good. The in-space dining is also an incredible transformation from what that space used to be. They created a comfy space to enjoy a quick meal or to have a catch up lunch with an old friend. Living in Boston, I said to my sister the other day when we couldn't find a lunch spot out of the hustle and bustle of the city, that we wish there was a Whole Harvest in our neighborhood. This restaurant is exactly what this town needed! There is very limited places where you can get a good lunch that doesn't make you feel guilty when you leave. It has also become, really hard for me to eat out with my food allergies, but the staff is amazing accommodating and super knowledgeable on all kinds of food allergies and dietary restrictions. The menu is primarily Gluten free and vegan based from the start so that you don't have to make tons of changes to fit into my diet. They also offer TONS of different protein options for people who are not vegan to sub in, which makes it a great choice for couples who have two different diets. They also had a ton of vegetarian/vegan options in the event you're trying to find somewhere that can accommodate the dietary restrictions those you're grabbing food with may have.
