Whirlyball is a great time and lots of fun. It is pricey so check out Groupon ahead of time. Once you go and pay, they do offer good deals for your next visit. They also have some group deals that include food. Some of the cars drive better than others; the referee didn't explain anything and if he did, I wouldn't know because we couldn't hear the referee over the music; we had to pay for music with a jukebox or it's otherwise quiet; the staff was slow with bringing out the beer we paid for ahead of time. I went here first time for office holiday party during Christmas, we had the whole place booked. The food and drinks is typical bar food and do not expect it to be mind blowing but let me take your attention to whirlyball game. The bumping cars weren't exactly like I thought it would be to begin with. There's no steering wheel to turn and you just have a stick which you use to steer the car. Since it was my first time, it took me about 2 min before I could figure how to go straight and not backwards or stuck in corner. I would suggest watching youtube videos if you want to save yourself from laugh. This is the combination of lacrosse and bumper cars. It is actually fantastic! The cars are not too fast and sometimes gets stuck on the floor, it happens rarely though. The staff is friendly and will make sure that you will have a good time. It is fun activity for both kids and adults. The only issue I have is with plastic caps on stick to turn your cars. I would prefer if were gloves with it because it leaves a mark on your hand and sometimes even cuts your skin like I did when you change direction instantly.
