We just had our wedding here back at the beginning of October and it could not have gone any better than it did. Sue and Morgan are two phenomenal people to work with and are amazingly open to ideas when it comes to setting up and organizing one's wedding. Upon our first arrival at the gardens back in April, just walking along the pathways and seeing all the pockets of hidden spaces and wonderful plantlife, my at-time-fiance and I knew that it was the place to be. This is a hidden gem in southeast fort worth and you have to check it out! We are having our wedding here later this year and i'll update then but I'm not expecting to change my rating.
So far the ladies have been supper nice and helpful with the planning process. The gardens are nice and it gives a sense of wonderment and curiosity. If you get the chance to walk across the bridge to the ship then do it! Gardens has lots of cats that are friendly. Be sure to give your email so that you can get notified of the events that are held there regularly.
So our wedding was amazing. The value of this venue was amazing. The DJ, bartender and a police officer were included. The ladies really helped us step by step and were there for the event. It really helps when you have someone coordinating the event who has been apart of the planning process. They were easy to work with and went above and beyond my expectations.
