I had to pleasure of working with Wyatt for 9-10 months. We started when my dog was about 10 weeks old. Wyatt demonstrated experience with a variety of dog breeds and training methods. From basic obedience to specialized tasks, he exhibited an understanding of what my dog needed and what other dogs in our group sessions needed. Wyatt was a blessing for our family! My husband and I got a doodle puppy early in 2023. Since he was a puppy he has been highly energetic and walking him was a constant nightmare, he would pull, jump on people and react towards other dogs. After my husband's sudden passing I considered rehoming our pup, he became too much and too strong for me to handle. Wyatt started working with our pup when he was about 10 months. I thought there was no hope for him but within one lesson you could see a dramatic difference. Wyatt made our life and walks with our pup enjoyable! He taught us how to help him with all the distractions around him. Now, he does not pull and does not react to anyone or any dog that walks past by him. We started training with Wyatt when our Doodle pups were just shy of 4 months old. Before we started, he found out what we wanted from the training so as to best meet the needs of our family.

Once those parameters were established, he took us and the dogs through a training protocol which adapted and evolved as the pups were able to demonstrate mastery of each skill and progress to the next.

Wyatt reinforced reasonable expectations including the various growth and developmental stages as the dogs aged. He was responsive to new behaviors as they emerged and taught us how to respond in ways that work with puppy brains.

Now, at 7 months, we have a super solid foundation of skills and we are able to be out in the neighborhood with no concerns about reactivity or loss of control.

Overall, Wyatt is reliable, punctual, and professional at all times. He responds promptly to any/all questions we’ve ever texted. We highly recommend him as your dog’s trainer, regardless of the age or abilities. I had such a great experience working with Wyatt!!

He helped me (and my cousin) completely transform my dog. She was extremely reactive to other dogs, pulled like crazy on her leash. She came to me with very little training.

Now, her recall is amazing that we can go to the park and play ball completely off leash. We can go on hikes and out to restaurants. Her transformation exceeded all of my expectations!!

Wyatt is patient and works with his customers to teach them how to handle their dogs. He was so flexible and always wanted to know things I wanted to be able to do with my dog and we would do them together ie farmer's markets, breweries, hikes. This format made me feel so comfortable to be able to do these things on my own and continue her training without him present!

I honestly couldn't be happier with how our training went. Wyatt himself is so much fun to hangout with and our sessions often just felt like friends getting together.
