Juliet is amazing. Period. I encourage everyone to work with her. She
is reliable, warm, fun, easy to work with, and an excellent
photographer. She was always quick to respond to any email and any
request. She is so easy-going, and does an amazing job of making
anyone feel comfortable having their picture taken. She is laid back and goes with
the flow, which is a really helpful energy to be around on your
wedding day, while also being gently assertive when needed to do her
job right. I felt like she was right there with us and supporting us
through the day, beyond the role of photographer. Juliet also does a
great job of fitting into the wedding. It felt like she was a part of
the crowd, which contributed to her being able to capture some amazing
candid photos.

We did an engagement shoot with her, and we're so happy with that
decision. First, it was great to meet her in person before the
wedding. The photos from the shoot were amazing, and we ended up using
them for our website and invitations. We'd highly recommend going with
the engagement shoot + 8 hour package.

Both the composition and the editing of the photos were perfect. She was also
really excellent at pulling us into particular shots that she knew
would be incredible (e.g., it started raining towards the end of our
wedding, and she HIGHLY encouraged us to come outside with her to get
a beautiful shot of us in the rain - it was SO worth the 5 minutes
spent outside for pretty much the best picture ever). And lastly, she
was so speedy in getting the photos to us. We had a subset album
within a few days, and the 1,000+ other photos within a week.

Family and friends are now considering her for their maternity and other shoots. She made a positive impression on all our guests. We can't say enough about how great Juliet is. More...

Juliet was AMAZING! We got married in December at the Red Barn in Amherst. When snow was in the forecast, we were a bit nervous about everyone traveling to the wedding (we are from out of town) but Juliet emailed us the night before saying how excited she was to get photos in the snow! She made us excited, since we were secretly hoping for snow!

The photos Juliet took of my husband and I in the snow are incredible. People have complimented us over and over and it's all due to Juliet's sense of style, keen eye, and beautiful photos. She also perfectly captured our families, wedding party, and candid photos of people dancing and enjoying the evening. She is enthusiastic and fun, while always professional and easy going. She was so accommodating with any requests of photos of the venue, and also making sure we got all the photos of family members and friends we wanted.

She was also very responsive to emails during the planning process. We talked on the phone (being from out of town) before choosing to hire her and she was professional and kind and made us feel excited about working with her. She also had a few photos available the NEXT day after our wedding, more up several days after, our entire photo gallery ready online a week later and our flash drive with downloadable photos was at our door in less than two weeks.

So many of our friends and family members have raved about Juliet and her work. We honestly cannot do justice with words-- she was amazing and such a good decision (while also being very reasonable rate-wise!) Hire her! You will not be disappointed. I’m so happy I chose Juliet for my daughter’s 6 week photo’s. I never got to book an actual newborn shoot, but Juliet made it so worth it! She is extremely patient (my daughter was fussy because a thunderstorm ruined our nap schedule) and so, so gentle & amazing.

I was afraid we wouldn’t have too many photo’s, but she performed her magic! She was able to catch a lot of my daughter’s expressions. She captured her beauty & personality perfectly.

I have followed Juliet and west on jade photography for several years and admired her newborn photography. When I had my little girl a few weeks ago, it was no question who we would go to for newborn photos. Juliet was completely professional but so personable and great to work with. She made us feel so comfortable when the baby needed to nurse and when she was fussy. The end product was absolutely beautiful and I am forever grateful we have such beautiful memories with our baby girl. Juliet photographed our wedding and I have to say, I have absolutely no regrets!... Her work is outstanding and she is so incredibly talented. My husband and I are not easy to photograph and we’re extremely camera shy, but she made us so comfortable and the images came out amazing! We came to Juliet for a photoshoot for our newborn and she was literally amazing. This was our first time having professional photos done and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. In the instructions for preparing for the shoot, Juliet says she wants the parents to “sit back and relax” and that is exactly what we did. She literally took care of EVERYTHING our little guy needed during the 2.5 hour session- feeding, soothing, outfit changes and positioning, diaper changing (not to mention cleaning up a blowout �), etc. She was the perfect combination of loving and professional. We couldn’t have been more happy with our decision to go with Juliet! She was creative and we have never felt more comfortable. We loved her work so much we printed all the photos out the day after we got them! You know you have a great photographer when you spend hours deciding which one to put on a canvas because there are so many good choices. She even caught a rainbow in our shoot! Juliet came highly recommended to us by our wedding venue coordinator. I looked through the pictures on her website and instantly loved the way she captured her subjects' personalities. I knew we had made the right selection from the first email correspondence: she got right back to us despite being on vacation, and she was extremely responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. More importantly, she is a gifted artist with incredible people skills. We are beyond thrilled with our engagement and wedding pictures, and our family and friends have commented at how beautiful the pictures Juliet took were. Not only was she creative in composing the shots, but she put us and all around us at ease. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and confidence actually made us more excited about our wedding day. Treat yourself to Juliet!!!

Oh boy did we throw a lot her way, and Juliet was so incredible and creative coming up with solutions to get us the best possible array of photos.

First off, I gave my professionally-trained photographer mother about 15 photographers to judge from an array of price points, but secretly I wanted Juliet because of the junkyard engagement shoot. She said none of them had talent except for her because she understands lighting, and Juliet is clearly extremely creative.

With grace, enthusiasm, and creativity, Juliet handled broiling weather, several locations with giant cohorts of friends and family, time crunches, an unconventional venue/ceremony/reception/schedule/location, a surprise drag show, and an unfortunate rushed photo shoot planned to take place in the parking lot.

We presented several challenges and Juliet took amazing care of us. She let me see a few photos and I was beside myself with how beautiful she made me look. She captured the way I want to see myself, and as a big girl, that’s an extremely rare and special talent to make a girl like me see her own beauty.

We feel absolutely smug about our brilliant choice in hiring Juliet. We’re going to have the most incredible photos to capture our unique and insane wedding!!! More...

Juliet was incredible to work with during our stages of the wedding process. She was recommended to us by my brother and Aunt, who had previously had her do a baby photo shoot and senior photos.

Those engagement photos that may feel awkward or look unnatural at times actually came naturally and felt very casual, easing our anxieties. We chose a pretty dreary day for our photos on accident, but Juliet was able to capture wonderful photos and edit them in a way that made them bright and beautiful. It was a quick, painless process and we loved the final products.

The night of the wedding, Juliet showed up with just herself, no back up or support. Little did we know, she didn’t need it. She managed to be everywhere at once, capturing very natural, emotional moments rather than making us pose for hours. She let my bridesmaids and I get a little silly and offer ideas for photos, she made everyone laugh during the process, and she captured all of the best moments. On the coldest night in 100 years, she came outside with us and managed to quickly and effectively take beautiful photos.

I would recommend Juliet to any and everyone. We constantly look at our wedding photos and notice the little things that we didn’t on our wedding night. We love them and we will continue to use Juliet in the future. More...
