I give WHATC the highest rating because they genuinely care about their clients and make sure all needs are addressed carefully. The staff, especially the director Sina, truly made it incredible as well as the facility itself. It was like a second home where i found solution. I would recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction or alcoholism; you will leave a 2.0 version of yourself. More...

Went to West Hollywood ATC for 36 days last fall and I remain grateful to this day — they helped save my life. I had been to treatment elsewhere, but I’ve never felt so well cared for as I did here. Small and intimate but very clean and modern rooms

The staff ACTUALLY CARE , (Marissa and Sina were very helpful ) and the food is really good too :)

Went to P2 as well before flying home , and met ppl that I now consider friends and have left a mark on me.

Eternally grateful

Everyone I came in contact with was very professional and caring. Even though I was scared to go, I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Thank you WH for all you do!

This place saved my sons life. He had been to what seemed like hundreds of programs prior to going across the country to West Hollywood. He came back the son I knew before he ever started using alcohol to cope. If I could leave 6 stars I would. Very grateful for this place More...

Amazing location, caring staff, and even had a pool which was nice! My recovery may be challenging but I am confident that I have the tools needed to help me on this journey thanks to West Hollywood.

FLOP HOUSE

I was at 'Phase 2' located in Encino, CA. It is their Intensive Out Patient Program.
The clinic where they distribute medication and where you are allowed to use a phone (must be supervised) is in the garage. This garage is more than 100 degrees- Encino in the summer is brutal. They have a fan, but only one and it is only facing the 20-28 year old 'Techs' (none of which are in the medical field). There is no Physician or Psychiatrist- only a nurse practitioner. I got a staph infection while I was there (the place is FLITHY!). My medical care consisted of: Took a picture, sent it to NP, she advised washing it with soap and water. When I got home my medical bills, to kill the infection was over $500.00, it is difficult to cure staph. A lot of wasted time getting treated. It was dangerous.
I had called in before I choose this facility at LEAST 7-8 times also texted them and asked repeatedly for pictures & if there were dual diagnostic. Said 'Yes'. Lied about private rooms. I had to share a bathroom with 5 men and it was also used for the general population as well. I am a repeated sexual abused/raped woman.
One time I had to beg a 25 year old male 'Tech' to let me use a different rest room or I would have an accident. (There were consequences if you used an unassigned rest room).
I began to simply fall apart.
They said they were dual diagnosis. They are 100% addiction only. They promised I could work my Smart Recovery Program and that they were not exclusively AA. A 1X FaceTime Smart Recovery meeting and had to go to every AA meeting.
I did like the Instructors and my therapist. Honestly good people. If anyone there were to read this- I would humbly Thank them. Also, the 'Techs' were not bad people. They just were far too immature and uneducated for their positions. A couple were passive aggressive and ridiculous.
The dishonesty of the Organization. If you go there I cannot stress enough to get everything in writing. (Notarized)... so much spite and lies by the administration.
After about 15 days of listening to rap music that was played loudly, I asked for it to be turned down (nicely) four times and then I yelled it. The Tech turned the music up. Hour drive.
I found the music offensive to both women and Black people. I have Black and Hispanic relatives (nieces and nephews) and so I asked 4 times to not play it this one time. The dude was so dense and kept saying: 'What music'... I said finally: 'Your fuck!ng play list with the word n- word in it assho!e'.
The next day the administrator said I was a racist and transferred me to an ALL MALE Sober Living House. He new my PTSD with men -- why would he do that except to be cruel?
I only survived there because there was a female House Manager and I had my own room right next to hers and there were no other rooms near us.
Oh, to back up a little, I went there for mental health issues and medication help. They, like I said could not provide any such help since there was no Psychiatrist.
