I called this past Saturday at 7pm to ask about making a large reservation for Sunday brunch and was told it would not be a problem. i called back with the reservation number today (not even 48 hours later) and was told they couldn't accommodate anything larger than 6. I don’t even have words for the phenomenal experience, atmosphere, and food tonight. We walked in and it was busy, booked with reservations. The manager, Adam, caught my husband looking concerned after our frustrating afternoon. He worked with their flexibility ability tonight and made a table happen for us. I almost cried. Went to Fireside Grill in middleboro tonight. We had a 7:00 reservation when we arrived they told us they were getting our table ready. At 7:30 we asked what the problem was and we were told it would still be a longer wait mind you this is after having made a reservation hours earlier. Both the hostesses as well as the manager could have cared less about our displeasure and were very rude and unhelpful. We have gone there many times and always enjoyed it but due to the managements total lack of concern we will never go back. If you are heading there for dinner I would suggest you go 7 min down the street to Boston Tavern they were far more accommodating and as it turns out there food was better. So I guess I owe fireside management a thank you for redirecting our new place to dine. More...

The Place: Fireside, Middleboro The Good: A friend of mine who I haven’t seen in a very long time contacted me and asked me if we can get together. I had some really good news to share and I agreed to meet her after work. I work in Middleborough on Tuesdays so she suggested the Fireside. After looking at the menu, we decided to order off of the “complete meals” menu. This consists of a soup or salad, an entrée, a dessert, and a soft drink - much to my delight ???? It is available Monday- Friday from 11:30am-5:30pm. We started off with tossed salads. I got bleu cheese dressing, my friend got vinaigrette. My friend had the Haddock with green beans and mashed potatoes. She said that everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. I opted for the chicken Parm which came with linguine and garlic bread. I have to say, this was probably one of the best chicken Parm I have ever had! And I couldn’t get over the serving sizes of these meals! I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow LOL We both got cheesecake for dessert and she told me to take hers home because she wasn’t going straight home after and she was trying to be good. We had Amanda for a waitress and she was wonderful! Very attentive but not overbearing. My friend and I were able to celebrate and catch up without 1 million interruptions. We were there for a surprise 80th birthday for Eddie Roselli. Everything was perfect, the atmosphere, food, the waiters & waitresses were wonderful. I want to extend a special thanks to the waitress who was especially kind to me. I was using a walker due to a broken leg & she held the door to the restroom, helped me maneuver into the stall & stayed to help me out & hold the door for me as I exited. I never got her name but she had dark hair, pulled back. I’m sure you will know who had the Red Coach Room tonight, March 2, at 5:30pm.
