About

We provide websites as a service (WaaS) instead of a product. That includes everything from designing a website based on your business to hosting it, providing ongoing updates to design and functionality etc. You never have to worry about hiring another website developer or designer again, your website is always kept up to the newest standards.

Michael and his team proceeded a top notch website. When we first learned of WAAS we liked the idea (Obviously, I mean never having to worry about your website again? ) it seemed too good to be true, or we would get a second rate website, but nope, I gota quote for my website that would be similar to what I got from ExecuServices and it was $9000! Try these guys out they are the best. More...

Our website was built really fast, we have a lot of advanced functionality, and I was concerned about the quality when they wanted to show it to us.

I was blown away by how well and functional our site was in just 2 weeks. Especially on mobile devices. I thought we were looking at 2 months.

The best part is that my team and I are no longer wasting hours a day trying to figure out getting something on the site, or worrying about getting someone on the phone when something was wrong, we had one issue so far, and by the time we noticed and called, they had already fixed it. This is how service is supposed to look.

Q&As

Your website is a representation of your company. It is a living sales team. A lead generating utility. It is the face of your business, and often the ONLY thing that your clients, and prospective clients see of your business. Do you want it to accurately represent the quality of products or services that you provide?

A good way to think about your website is to think about it as something that is fluid. A website starts becoming obsolete the moment it goes live. A great website stays up to date, not just the CMS (like WordPress or Drupal), and the extensions (Chat functionality, eCommerce, FaceBook feeds, etc.), and the content, but the design as well.

The web is constantly changing. Those icons you see on every site? They will go out of style and make a site look old and dated one day, maybe next month. Would you rather pay 3 - 5k for a great website for today, or pay that monthly over the course of 2 - 3 years and have a website that is ALWAYS kept up to date?

Image links break.
New devices come out regularly.
SSL certificates expire. (You better get someone that has SSL on their own website, it greatly impacts your SEO, and is easy to implement and cheap and even free)
Banners need updating.
Content becomes outdated.
And on and on.

This is why we came up with the Website as a Service (WaaS) model. It spreads the cost of your website out over time, while providing ongoing support, updates, hosting, email, and a design that will help you dominate your competition.

Every client is unique, some want to be super involved in the design process, and some do not have time, and just want it to look great, be super functional, and not have to participate in it at all, except approvals along the way, and there are some that are somewhere in the middle. Most of our clients are in the middle, and this is our 5 step process:

1. Discovery: We learn about you and your business and your competition. How can we kick their asses?

2. Draw up a plan: We are pretty good at what we do, but we make sure you are happy with our ideas and progress. We use pro stock photos at first, but can arrange for your own photos to be taken or to use existing ones. The design is based on a combination of your color scheme and modern styles.

3. Development site: We implement the site for you to view, approve, change.

4. Launch: We launch the site and monitor it.

5. Updates: We continue to monitor the site, making suggestions, updating the backend, and keeping your content fresh.

I built my first website working for a shoe store in Newburyport. I was always good with computers, and somehow that translated to also being able to build websites. Never one to turn down a challenge, I built a website, and then went on to make one of the first shoe stores to sell products online on their own site (eBay still didn't sell shoes at this point). The first iteration of eCommerce was nothing more than a complicated series of forms and tables. We have come a long way from there, but I told myself "there has to be a better way" and then I found open source content management systems (CMS) and with my understanding and ability to integrate and customize those, came a very rewarding and fruitful career.

I was a Director of IT for a global eCommerce provider, providing website and eCommerce services for fortune 500 companies like Fidelity, the NFL, BlackRock, Liberty Mutual, New York Life, Dell, Hubspot, and many others.

After a short stint as CTO for an eCommerce company, I had an opportunity to buy out a business that I helped found years earlier. I have revamped and split the business into sections, one being the WaaS offering and took the best and the brightest along with me to help build this up to be the best offering possible.

I have 17 years experience in IT and have always had some level of responsibility, if not direct accountability, over online assets, from development to project management to team building. I find the right and best tools for the job, and have a high level understanding of complicated business goals, processes and needs. Going into business for myself was the next logical step when I saw the need for a better system of Website Development.

A client should choose us if they check off any of these things:

1. Sick of going through the cycle of: Hire a web designer/developer > Go through design process > Launch site > Little things go wrong and are not addressed > Site is beyond help and needs to be redesigned > Repeat

2. Want a highly competitive website, built and customized using premium stock photography, a custom templating process (be wary of any designer/developer that shuns the use of templates and existing plugins, on any level, as these guys are just trying to keep their designers and developers busy on things that already exist!)

3. Have, or expect, a lot of traffic. We use AWS cloud based servers and scaling technology to keep your site up and running fast. Not only will your website always be up to date with the newest designs, extensions, and CMS, but it will also always be sitting on the newest and best cloud technology.

4. Need extra security. Our servers and sites are built with PCI-DSS highest level of compliance in mind. We utilize dual WAF (Web Application Firewall) technology, at the server and application levels, use hosting platform firewalls and AWS's least access allowed firewall structure. All sites have SSL included by default. Add to that the fact that updates, security and otherwise, are the highest priority (even over up time, which our SLA is 99.8% for the website, and 99.99% for the server, and can offer special 100% uptime SLA's if needed to clients).

5. You just want someone smart working on your project. Someone that understands what it takes to make a website that sells and is what the consumer wants. Who also knows how to make things happen and work. Need to sell events/tickets? No problem. Have digital products? Easy. Need a chat bot? No sweat.
