We had the absolute pleasure to work with Cady and John of WC Studio on the extensive renovation of our Bellevue home. What began as a vintage 70's dark, dated, and cramped space was transformed into a light, airy, and comfortable great room with clean lines and ample natural light. John and Cady were able to interpret our often vague ideas, add their own creativity and vision, and create a look and feel that was exactly what we had envisioned. Besides handling the architectural design, WC Studio also provided construction management services. They were a staunch advocate and intermediary with the general contractor (who was also fabulous).Finally, Cady and John were kind, attentive, and always eager to help in any way possible: from selecting lighting fixtures, custom designing a wonderful walnut butcher block bar top floating on the kitchen work island, to making my dream of an espresso station come true. WC Studio did the design work for our remodel and did a fantastic job. They re-conceptualized the layout of our 1926 Craftsman and made far better use of the space via an open kitchen, several sets of pocket doors, and a clean color-scheme. They were also involved in the construction portion of the project, and made sure to communicate every aspect of their design to the contractors, which greatly simplified the process for us.
