We are incredibly grateful for The Wanderlust team. Ali and her team diligently helped our family work through a change in venue and entire wedding plan due to the pandemic. They helped us craft a socially awesome but physically distanced wedding for our daughter which was enjoyed by all. This planning process included using a venue that had never before hosted a wedding. With the help of their trusted vendor partners we were able to host a perfect evening for friends and family. Ali even helped us work with the photographer to ensure that folks who could not safely travel or attend participated via a livestream. The team conducted themselves professionally, patiently, thoughtfully and most importantly kindly. They thought of every detail and brought so much wisdom to the planning process. When you factor in all the time and individual attention Ali devoted as our full scale planner and all the wonderful vendors to whom she referred us it was worth every dollar. My husband and I hired Wanderlust for day of coordination for our 8/14/20 wedding. Ali and her assistant Melissa were AMAZING! Ali was available to answer any and all questions during my planning process. She was always prompt and honest with recommendations. The wedding documents they provided early in the process helped me tremendously with planning- so many things I hadn’t even thought about! Ali offered support and guidance with all of the changes Covid threw our way. They made sure our day ran smoothly from everything from set up to tear down. I wish I could give ten thousand stars- you would think that Ali has immense experience dealing with weddings in the middle of a pandemic. Every single step of the way, Ali was so supportive and calming, it felt like planning my wedding with a friend. Don’t be fooled the by the phrase “day-of” coordinator- with Wanderlust that really means “month-of,” or any time you want to call and completely overhaul your plan! Once things changed and I realized I needed more help, Ali helped me come up with a plan B, C, D, and E (not an exaggeration). The restaurant restrictions essentially required Ali and Hillary to create every last detail from the ground up in my back yard, and they made my whole wedding experience spectacular. I cannot recommend Wanderlust (Ali) enough. I was supposed to be a 4/4/20 bride, but because of the virus, we had to reschedule. I have been beyond depressed, angry, sad, full of anxiety and panic, and experiencing literally every emotion known to mankind repeatedly for the past few weeks. I wanted to throw in the towel on NUMEROUS occasions and not have a wedding at all, where ultimately, I would have lost all of the money we have put into it. I was losing hope and all excitement, but Ali repeatedly talked me down off the ledge (I lost count of how many times). She dealt with my dozens of back-to-back texts about the whole situation with ease, empathy, and confidence. I know the *real* reason of marriage, but we all know so much more goes into it, and she truly understood that guiding me through my emotions (therapist in your next life, Ali?), helping me pick a new date, and assuring me it would all be OK and that I was doing the right thing. Before the postponement, during my regularly scheduled wedding planning, she was there to answer my every question (dumb or not), she helped me with other vendors, brought my vision to life, and even attended other meetings with me since I was a clueless first timer. Even though I always wanted a wedding, I couldn’t really bring my vision to the forefront in a successful manner and she has helped through it all. I felt so safe, confident, and secure going into my original 4/4 date with her by my side and at the wheel knowing that everything was going to be perfectly orchestrated and myself and my family wouldn’t have to worry about a thing, which was my main objective. She has become more than just my planner/coordinator, she has become a friend. I have a few months until my rescheduled date, but now more than before, I know that I made the right choice with choosing Wanderlust to help me through the biggest day of my life…even if it is way later than anticipated. Ali and Sam are truly THE best! Being in the wedding industry myself I work with many amazing professionals.
I know you’re thinking the wedding hasn’t happened yet, what could she possibly have to say?

They both have been so efficient in their communication with me. They have always been there when I have a question, big or small. They are supportive and caring in their responses to my concerns with the possibility of postponement of our wedding due to the pandemic. I am so proud to call them my friends and so lucky to have them on my vendor team for my wedding. Having a planner in any capacity does wonders for your mental health.

I was lucky enough to have Ali as a guest at my wedding and Sam and her assistant took care of the day of!!! I did not have to worry about a thing! They took care of setting out our appetizers, cake, cookies, and cleaning up at the end so that my family didn’t have to. If I had to give any future bride ONE suggestion, it would, HANDS DOWN, be to hire a wedding coordinator. And even more specifically, hire Wanderlust! I hired Ali and her team for day of coordination, and I am being 110% honest when I say that our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without them. I had been talking with Ali prior to getting engaged, and knew when I got engaged I wanted to hire them immediately , and it didn't take much to convince my Father that they were needed as well. After he met with the girls he agreed that it would be money well spent.

I have heard so many stories of brides hiring someone because they were "inexpensive", but stressed out every day about phone calls not being answered, or emails not being returned...who wants to deal with that Throughout the planning process, anytime I emailed or texted Ali, Taylor, and Hillary, they got back to me in a timely manner 100% of the time. They calmed my nerves on days I felt panicked, and they always made me feel like a priority.

I went into our wedding day feeling calm and collected, I trusted these women. To me, that's HUGE. My parents and our guests RAVED about Ali, Hillary and Taylor, and their professionalism, and their willingness to go above and beyond for us. They truly did just that. We will FOREVER look back on our special day, and remember what a big role these women played, and how much they helped me in more ways than one!
