VOX DJs

DJ Makai kept a cool, fun atmosphere and added ideas that ended up being our favorite aspects of the whole event. He worked with us early on to show how he likes to keep his hand on the dial of the party’s energy - keeping it low for quiet times and amping it up for fun times. He worked with our music choices and had their timing perfectly on the big day. He gave us the suggestion to have a single high energy song where we went around to take a picture with every table. He had the guests treat it like a game to make sure we got around everywhere. Without a doubt, this was the best unexpected joy from our wedding and worth the price of a DJ alone. Everyone was immediately jumping out of their seats to get funny poses going while keeping us moving along. We got fun photos with every single person at our wedding. He also ended the evening with a group sing-along of Bohemian Rhapsody that got everyone back to the dance floor and singing with gusto. For our wedding we went through Vox Djs and let me tell you, they were such a pleasure to work with!! Our DJ was DJ Makai and I couldnt recommend him enough. Makai helped us plan the music component and orchestrate the vibe of our celebration down to the very last minute detail. He was extremely flexible and helpful which threw a huge weight off our shoulders. Not only did he DJ but he hosted as well. All of our guests kept commenting on how great the DJ/MC was. The photo booth we used came with unlimited photos/prints and I have to say that the quality of the prints was some probably the best I've ever seen from a photo booth. Super clear. The team at VOX even worked with us to create a custom border around the image.When it came to music, DJ HUDD absolutely killed it. We chose Kahai because he was so obviously passionate about music and had such a cool, laid back vibe about him. He really came through for us in crunch time as the wedding date approached, keeping us calm and guiding the song selection process. If you are planning any party stop searching for a DJ and hire Diego from VOX. From the second my fiancé and I spoke to Diego and he gave us a list of all the DJ's at VOX we knew Diego would be our guy. He was just so cool and down to earth. We got married on 12/5/21 and the dance floor was never empty. We got so many compliments on the music and how fun the wedding was. I also had asked Diego to play a small mashup of Taylor Swift songs and he did not disappoint. My husband who hates TS even danced to the mash up :)  The uplighting and monogram was also way nice. Thank you Diego for making our wedding an absolute success. Can't wait to hire you again! More...

Makai Gooden was an Amazing DJ. We wanted to start the music at 330 for our 4PM wedding. He was there before 2PM setting up. Walked us through how to signal him throughout the ceremony. Checked in with us. There were even some curveballs (a couple of impromptu speeches) and he just rolled right with it. Vox Dj service made our wedding day a blast! From start to finish connecting with Vox Dj’s was seamless. We were paired with Dj Darron who is an absolute party starter! Our wedding dance floor was never empty and the entire night went smooth with his excellent MC skills. Although we had a microphone issue and mother-son dance request problem, Dj Darron never faltered. Dj Darron listened to our requests and also added his own flavor and mixes based on BPM. The music tied in wonderfully from pre ceremony to reception. In addition we worked with Dave to customize a beautiful wedding monogram for the dance floor. After rescheduling our wedding twice and our previous DJ already booked for the new date, We hired Eric De La Torre from the recommendation of our wedding coordinator. He was very easy to work with the planning process and had some great songs recommendation especially that We were doing a Halloween theme wedding. Eric did an amazing job keeping the dance floor lively the entire night and making sure our guests were having a great time. We even decided to do a last minute costume contest for our guests and Eric was phenomenal in making sure the contest was fun and engaging. Highly recommend Eric!!
