All the trainers are incredible and extremely knowledgeable! I have been working with Jenna for a year now and she is hands down the best trainer/coach I have ever worked with. I have a history of lumbar fracture/facet joint arthritis and she is the only trainer I’ve had who knew how to rehab my injury while also improving my strength. I haven’t felt this healthy in years. Jenna is the best trainer! We have been doing couples training with her for a year now and have valued every moment of it. She has listened to our personal fitness goals as well as implementing exercise in areas that she noticed we need improvement. Volition Fitness has been one of the best decisions of my life. I trained with Jenna and she was my real introduction to a healthy lifestyle. I've known Chris for 6 ot 7 years now on the business side of things. I've seen his gym evolve annually with constant upgrades in equipment. The entire facility was upgraded to a larger more well equipped spot recently. On the business side of things he has implemented improved software to make the client experience more seamless, he's given back to the community with his powerlifting team and coaching staff, and continues to further his education as it relates to his business and clients. I have been a client of Volition Fitness for nearly three years. It has been a life changing experience. When I first started I was out of shape and had a seriously unhealthy diet. Chris gave me a nutrition plan and worked with me in the gym to improve my physical fitness. As time went on I became healthier and stronger and found myself loving the challenge of lifting more weight. Chris encouraged me to try powerlifting and I haven’t looked back. I can now lift more then twice my body weight. When I go to the doctor for a yearly check up, everything is perfect! I am truly the healthiest version of myself. Now, even my son and my husband are clients of Volition Fitness. Chris is knowledgeable, reliable, committed, professional and just a genuinely kind man. Chris and the staff at Volition are top notch professionals. I have trained with other trainers in the past, but Chris is absolutely in a league of his own. He knows, and is willing to explain, the whys and how’s behind anything you do in the gym and has helped many people recover from serious injuries. Training with Chris has been incredible! Started out at 19% body fat and he dropped me to 8% in a 16 week prep just before my very FIRST competition in bikini. Not only that I managed to place 5th in my open class qualifying for jr nationals, this being a newbie with girls who had competed before. He always does what he says he is going to, checks in and has great input on any question. Insane education to back it up. I definitely would reccomend him to anyone looking to change their life, although at the same time I hate to because this company is the "best kept secret" for me. Worth every penny. More...

I have been a client of Volition Fitness for over two years now, and I couldn't be happier with the level of expertise and care Chris and Brianne have put into their company. Chris is the first personal trainer I have ever had. Prior to becoming a client at Volition Fitness, I mostly did work out videos at home and ran the occasional 10K. My workouts waxed and waned as did my weight. I lacked the accountability that comes with training with a personal trainer, and the knowledge of my own limits. Chris knows my abilities better than I do and since I started working out at Volition Fitness I have done things I never would have thought possible. When I started, I had a shoulder injury and other aches and complaints. Chris used exercises and stretches to repair my shoulder and now I compete in power lifting. Chris laid out a diet plan specific to my physical training needs and gives me lots of ideas on how to meet my nutrition goals. I still struggle with my diet, and I never feel judged but just gently encouraged to do better. Most importantly, I have never felt anything more than respected by Chris. I have made friends with the other women at power lifting competitions who train with Chris and I think we all agree he treats us all with respect. I feel I should add that each session is one on one and lasts a full hour. He never trains anyone else while working with you. Unless like me, you decide to bring your husband and children to workout with you! Chris and Brianne are dedicated to their craft and love what they do. Chris stays up to date on the latest evidence-based research in his field. Whether you just want to show up and workout and let them worry about the rest, or you have a genuine interest in learning more about how to get the most out of your body physically, I highly recommend Volition Fitness. I worked with Haley over 12 sessions. My goals were the following:
1. Get stronger using Squat, Bench, and Deadlift as performance metrics
2. Learn any technique changes, queues, or excerises to help me with goal #1
3. Compete in a powerlifting meet.

We succeeded in achieving all three of these goals. Volition Fitness is a great place to get personal training whether you've never worked out before or more experienced.

Below I will go over the three goals in more detail.

Goal 1 Overview
My maximum 1 repetition deadlift was 405 lbs at the beginning. My maximum 1 repetition was 440 at the powerlifting meet, and it is clear from the video footage that I had another 10 pounds in the tank.

My maximum 1 repetition bench press was 210 lbs at the beginning. My maximum 1 repetition was 225 lbs at the powerlifting meet.

My maximum 1 repetition squat was 295 lbs at the beginning. My maximum 1 repetition was 290 lbs (I think) at the powerlifting meet. I missed my first attempt due to a technique failure, and thus was not able to make a third jump in the meet.

Goal 2 Overview
Haley has an academic background in sports exercise science and applies her knowledge effectively. She knows queues for beginners, but also will observe and give suggestions for small changes in form. The team at Volition fitness has an excellent repertoire of exercises that I have never found in any youtube video or article. In that respect my time with Volition was extremely valuable.

Goal 3 Overview
The Volition Fitness team provided excellent support during my powerlifting meet. They helped me with my warm-up sets and cheered me on. It was a ton of fun, and a great example of the positive fitness culture that the sport of powerlifting tends to cultivate.

I can't say enough good things about Brianne and Volition Fitness! Over the past 4 months, I have become stronger, faster, and feel better than I have in a very long time. Joint aches and pains have minimized or completely gone away and I see muscle definition where there hasn't been any in ages. Brianne is very professional. Chris worked with me for almost 6 months training for a bikini competition. His nutrition and workout plan was very individualized for my body type and aspects that I needed to improve on. To say training at Volition with Chris was incredible would be an understatement. I came to Chris with two months before I left school to play college basketball. My ultimate goal was to strengthen my very injured and weak back as well as to build muscle to aid me in playing at the collegiate level. Chris was more helpful than I thought could be possible. He not only strengthened my back to zero pain but also aided me into gaining an incredible amount of muscle and strength that exceeded my expectations tremendously. There really isn't anything I can say that will truly express how amazing Chris is but I can definitely try! I've been working with him for about a year or so now and he's beyond anything I could have asked for in a trainer. He's motivating, he's incredibly knowledgable, he always offers up suggestions for ways to improve in multiple facets of my life. He was supportive and pushed me just the right amount when I went through the loss of my father and many other significant life events. He's a trainer and therapist for the price of one. He cares about his clients and puts a lot of time and effort into making each workout personalized, challenging and different. He is always adjusting workouts to suit my needs. When I first started seeing him, knee pain was an every-day thing. Over the last year, my knee pain has slowly diminished to the point it rarely flares up. Every workout he takes me through is in an effort to not only make me stronger and healthier but to remedy the source of any pain. There have been many times I've gone in for a workout in pain and left relieved. He is by far one of the most intelligent and knowledgable individuals I've ever had the pleasure of talking to. Not only does he describe what you're doing and why, he's often willing to go into depth about the mechanics and physiology of the workouts and why they're proven to work. I highly recommend Chris for just about anyone. Chris Huffman is an exceptionally great trainer. I was literally on the brink of being obese and Chris helped me to understand what I needed to do in order to change my lifestyle so that I could be a happier healthier version of myself. Thanks to Chris, I am eating healthier, I enjoy going to the gym and am loving the way my body looks. I enjoyed his calm, easy manner in which he taught how to maximize my workout
