Wow! This was a breath-taking experience. My heart almost skipped a beat! I actually touched fire with my tongue...very sexy. TASTING THE TIP...of fire was one of the coolest parlor tricks I learned on the day.Always liked the concept of mastering the fire element. I did just that with my instructor Cat! This woman knows her craft. As I held two wands in one hand, one on fire and the other not; I transferred the flames from one wand to the other using MY BARE FINGERS. In one instance, I actually held fire in the palm of my left hand as I transferred the flames from one wand to the other still using MY BARE HAND. Yes, I dipped the wands in flame fluid before each lesson.During the brief moment,the flame in my left palm felt surreal. I remember Cat stated that when your palm is on fire it is instinctive to extinguish the flame by rubbing your hand on clothing to snuff the flames; this action can be dangerous. Clothes can catch on fire and it becomes a messy situation. The smartest action is to hold out your hand and close the palm quickly. Students are instructed to style their hair away from their face, wear sleeveless clothing and flat shoes.Cat is a highly skilled professional, displays patience with her students!
