Came here with family to enjoy the nice ambiance of the winery and grab some dinner. I want to specify that my negative review is only for the food; we did not try the wine. My husband and I ordered the Angus burger and the spicy tuna roll. $18 for an awful burger. Tasted like a frozen patty I would grill at a kid's party. And $15 for sushi that I'm questioning if it came from a gas station. Wish I could get my money back and go somewhere to get a REAL meal. I suggest never coming here for food. More...

I love coming to Vitagliano to enjoy live music with some great wine. The customer service is always great. I enjoy coming here and lounging by nature and listening to the sounds of water. Food is also available, we ordered burgers, and wings for a group. There's plenty of seating areas. There's also a lovely wedding venue located on the entrance. Came here on a Saturday to celebrate my birthday with some of my closest friends. The winery is beautiful. I loved that they have golf carts to pick you up & drive you up to the location. It's very green. I loved that it wasn't crowded. We had white & red wine, chicken wings, fries, & sangria. The sangria was very good as well as the white wine. Wine is quite good. Beautiful property (even when a wedding may make certain places off limits) the tasting area is fine, a bit "rustic" with tables, chairs & couches & set atop wood chips (ladies I recommend wedge shoes!) amongst the many trees with cool breezes. Mixed reviews about this place. The MAIN property area is beautiful. But...parking/entrance was SO confusing. There were no signs. We drove around for about 5 minutes and finally asked a wonderful man in a golf cart, Gene, where to go. Luckily he drove us to the tasting area. With that being said, there was a wedding getting ready to start in the main area so our tasting was in the back at a, for lack of a better word, janky building. This was MUCH less scenic than the majority of the pictures I saw, and had I known that this is where our tasting would be, I would have skipped this winery entirely. Gene was fantastic though! Temecula wine country hosts over 50 wineries, all unique in their own way. But this winery is special it is considered a boutique winery. They offer wine by the glass or the bottle and allow you to first sample wines before committing to a delicious vintage. This isn't a Winery where you stand around and hope to be seen for each new taste. Instead, you order from their friendly and knowledgeable, wine servers from a darling little wine booth. Yes, you will sometimes stand in a line during peak hours but it's worth the wait so be patient and enjoy the atmosphere. They have a casual food menu with items ranging from pizzas and flatbreads to sandwiches, burger,bar food and even sushi! All of it delicious . They have a great wine, pairing cheese and charcuterie board for two that can be pre-ordered online. It's the most generous charcuterie board I've ever seen.The winery itself is hidden in the back part of their wedding venue (which us stunning). they usually have golf cart drivers to escort you back to the winery or be directed around a pass to a short walk through the vineyards. It's private, secluded and shaded with lots of seating; you feel like you're in a park like setting. I have seen people bring in light snacks, which is allowed but you'll definitely want to eat off of their menu. The menu items are served in a disposable containers as this is not a full-service restaurant. I witnessed a birthday party set up the day I last was here, what a great idea. They got here just before the winery open to set it up.I've been there several times when there's live music playing almost every weekend. Sometimes it's classic rock sometimes it's country music other times it might be a duet or solo artist.If you're planning a visit to wine country, I highly recommend that you make this one of your stops probably one of your last stops because they're open later and the lighting in the trees is absolutely gorgeous, a great way to end your day. They have a really nice wedding venue . The pond / lake area is gorgeous for photos . It's usually booked for weddings so make sure to come early if you'd like to see it , it gets closed off when the event begins . We were members for a bit , we did have a misunderstanding about our wine once . So make sure to pick up your complete wine order , all 3 bottles . Thankfully the owner , checked the cameras and was able to support our claim .On Oct 1 we came to pick up our wine order and there was only 1 employee serving the counter so it was taking FOREVER To get service , I've attached the length of the line . It was like that for 30 mins , until a second employee came to help her . We came to get our order but she was too busy to hand it to us the first time , so we had to get back in line to finally receive it . Which I understand , the line was very long for one person to handle a Saturday evening .To get to the winery , you have to be transported in a golf cart .We weren't able to return to the parking lot because 2 random people crashed the wedding party area, so the golf carts were busy ? . We went there yesterday with some family. The location is very beautiful, and the one staff that was working there at the cashier was very friendly but it's poorly managed. I fell for the positive reviews here but I think most reviews are for Vitagliano the event place rather than the winery cause the winery part of it is quite underwhelming. there is no sign at the facility to say where is the winery, or the office to get a table. We sat in the event area thinking it was the restaurant for good 15 minutes. I had to go walk around and finally found a guy who was loading a truck to tell me where to go.It was a hot day and there was no indoor sitting area or enough covered sittings or a fan to cool you down.They advertise themselves as a laid back winery but even laid back needs some style and management in my opinion.when i spend $200 dollar on food i expect to receive a service matching that.The food came in to-go boxes with plastic knives which is such a huge turn-off.The wine was ok but mediocre and the wine menu was quite limited. I thought hey at least gonna serve the cheese platter on an actual platter but no! It came in a togo box with no silverware and then i had to go get plastic knives like cafe Tera style. Imagine having to cut cheese in a foam box with flimsy plastic knives! It was so embarrassing in front of my guests. Maybe it's just me but when I take my guests to a winery I expect it to look better than a diner. even in a diner, they serve food on a plate with real silver wares, they have comfy sittings and some fans to cool you down. Don't waste your time and money My husband & I decided to come here for a wine tasting experience for our anniversary today. When we arrived, there was no signage to direct us to the tasting. After wandering in the hot 90 degree sun for half hour along with several other guests, a maintenance person finally directed us to the site, way back behind 2 buildings and quite a distance from the parking lot. By the time we arrived, we were soaked in perspiration, exhausted from the walk, frustrated at the lack of signage and totally out of the mood for a wine tasting experience! And for all of this, I paid $110 in advance! We told the young lady who was very nice & apologetic that we had decided not to spend our anniversary here after such a traumatic day and would like a refund. The manager she called was quite rude and refused to refund us saying we'd paid an outside contractor for the cheese & meat trays and she didn't know the cost of them without the wine. She agreed to refund the wine only once she ascertained the price of the charcuterie trays. We ordered 2 trays One with meat one without for $110. They made us take the trays with us although it was well over 95 degrees and we had an hour drive back to San Diego. Needless to say, by the time we arrived home, they had to both be trashed. Such a horrible experience for our first time there. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to spending a nice afternoon wine tasting and munching for our anniversary. More...

This is probably my favorite winery in Temecula!The grounds are beautiful! Lots of parking then walk down into a beautiful pond, I can see why a lot of people get married here. Behind the pond is a building, space for cornhole, and then further around the bend is their outdoor wine patio among the trees and greenery. There's so much seating spaces throughout the property.The wines are all delicious! I prefer reds, but on these hot days I need a little chill in my life. I'm not usually a sweet wine person, but their rosé isn't sweet at all, and so refreshing in the heat. I got two bottles!The staff are all super friendly too. I meant Jones I was visiting for my birthday and they made my drink extra special! They've also got a little golf cart to shuttle you from the wine to the parking lot for your convenience. Update June 2022: we joined this dog friendly winery several months ago and so far we are happy. Summary: It's less crowded here than some of the mainstream wineries (a plus). It's beautiful, more rustic and laid back (another plus). Wines are pretty good. Food is available (recommend their pizzas). Good entertainment. Pros: dog friendly! wines that we enjoy; several spots to sit and sip; lots of shady trees; entertainment; on the mellower side; fabulous wine club pick up parties (no charge, food and desserts are always good; upgrades/renovations in process that will make it even more awesome; shuttle service if you choose to do so; owners are visible during events, and very warm and welcoming too. Cons: it's a bit of a walk or a shuttle ride to wine tasting area; cobble stone lined walkways are nice, but be careful if you wear heels; kind of dusty, get dirt in your sandals kind of thing; we've had some not so pleasant experiences with some of the staff. They do a lot of weddings that are held in the main patio area. It's really not that big of a deal because they do a pretty good job to accommodate winery visitors.
