Sheina Natasha Feder Clauser of Visualab Design is everything one could ever hope for in a collaborator. As the designer of the CD artwork for our band The Armoires' first album-- an important, tone-setting occasion for us-- Sheina did an unbelievable job from the word "go". We felt certain we were in good hands from the way Sheina spoke with us at our first meeting. We had already seen samples of her excellent work, but the way she actively and enthusiastically discussed the themes and style of our music and how it could be represented visually sealed the deal. And still she exceeded our expectations. At every turn as she presented us with new artwork, listened with the utmost of patience to our (often admittedly esoteric!) concerns and made subtle changes to the design package almost before we'd asked, we found ourselves unable to believe our good fortune. Most importantly, now that the CDs have been pressed and delivered and seen by the world, the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, and glowing. Sheina produced a beautiful package that looks like our music sounds, and we are proud to be able to release it with her work as its skin. I was apprehensive about looking for a social media director—I had tried once before and gotten responses from lots of people and companies who were experts at responding quickly to ads but had no interest in me or my project or any qualifications for the material. Then came Sheina and Visualab Design. From her first email and through to this day, Sheina has exhibited an amazing understanding of my project, a talent for thinking inside and outside the box, and a true enthusiasm for what I’m doing. She always responds quickly and with lots of ideas, and usually after she has already done a fair amount of research about or work on the thing I was contacting her about.
