Our family visited Sta. Barbara in 2005 and it was love at first sight! My aunt took us to the mission church and showed us the beautiful chalk paintings done by the locals ( one was done by her son) on its pavement, had lunch at the wharf, went swimming in the afternoon, then went downtown to the shops and dined at a Thai restaurant. We spent a few days in the area and picked raspberries, went wine tasting and sight seeing as well. Our family fell in love with the place and my 2 sons took out a brochure on real estate and asked me if we could buy a house there! It was one of the best family vacations we ever had and we would love to go back again and again!!! More...
