I never had a personal trainer before trying out Virtuo, so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but from my initial consultation onwards, my experience has been nothing but positive. I am very happy with my decision to join!

All of the trainers at the gym are incredibly welcoming and helpful. My trainer Gilbert has not only helped me work towards my fitness goals, but also provided useful insight about correcting everyday body movement. I have ankle/foot issues and he’s been an invaluable source of information to help me correct and improve.

I think my favorite part of Virtuo is that Gilbert and the rest of the crew seem truly invested in my progress, which has been an unexpectedly great benefit. I actually look forward to my sessions, which definitely wasn’t the case when I worked out before.

I’ve been incredibly pleased with Virtuo since joining and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a personal trainer!

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while now, but just now getting around to it.

My significant other joined Virtuo Fitness earlier this year and would come home raving about the trainers and how much he was liked his sessions. He started seeing results very quickly and convinced me to check them out. I’ve always been intimidated by the whole personal training thing, especially since it’s typically not the most welcoming environment. Virtuo Fitness could not be more opposite to those stereotypes. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and from my experience, all the coaches go above and beyond with getting to know their clients. I was out of town this summer and often times found myself missing Eric (my trainer) and our time together. Eric is incredible — he’s knowledgeable, approachable, and incredibly thoughtful. He’s really great at respecting my pace/limits while also pushing me to do better. Never in a million years did I think I’d look forward to going to the gym! More...

I came to Virtuo Personal Training because I was eager to lose some weight and thought the combination of both nutritional advice as well as training was super interesting to me.
After meeting with Keith for my initial training session, I knew that i had made an excellent choice. He was an expert at his craft, while also being approachable and kind. I felt confident that by working with him I would be able to stay motivated and reach my goals.
Since working out at the gym, and getting nutritional advice from Jonny, as well as two sessions/week with Keith, I have exceeded the original goals I set for myself.
I would tell anyone that was considering trying out Virtuo to go for it. The gym is great. The personal attention is unmatched and the motivation from the coaches as well as the nutritional plan really works. It is a great place to go to get back on track. I highly recommend it!

Q&As

We work with clients on a personal level and take the time and care to understand the deeper motivation behind their fitness goals. We believe that strong client trainer relationships are key to long-term success and strive to make sure we are serving the individual, not giving them an out of the box plan. Our clients are our family at the studio and the fact that many of them have been with us for years and continued to train through the pandemic is a testament to the power of those relationships.

The "secret" is first understanding what having that body means to the clients. All our extrinsic goals are tied to deeper motivations and our ability to tap into our client's "why" allows us to be so successful in helping them achieve their dream goal. The process of getting more fit and healthy is not overly complicated, but motivating people and keeping them on track is a complex challenge that we have been overcoming with clients for years. We help our clients identify why they want what they want and then hold them accountable until that goal is achieved.

We most love the privilege of walking hand and hand with our clients as they quite literally transform the way they look and feel. Fitness serves as a prooving ground for people's ability to control their outcome and often carries over into every other area of their lives. We get motivated to go to work everyday knowing we get to be the catalyst for that change.

I've worked in many gyms and around many trainers over the years, some good and some bad. Over time I developed a view that many trainers were treating their clients like dollar signs and felt that this was contrary spirit of what fitness should be about. I created Virtuo based on the idea that successful personal training is a byproduct of strong commitment on the part of the trainer to help others. We are in the business of service and happen to serve people by making them happier and healthier so they can lead longer and more fulfilled lives.

We see each of our clients as an individual and make a commitment on a personal and professional level to provide them with all the tools and guidance to reach their goal. We believe that everyone is capable of change, especially those who have failed so many times before. We believe in fresh starts and accountability with empathy and we promise to never give up on a client who continues to show up and do their part.

Yes, we have extensive online coaching resources including our own fitness app, remote zoom sessions, a membership site, live video workout classes and more.

All our staff has been vaccinated for Covid-19 as of 4/3/21. We use HEPA air filters in our facility and stagger our schedule to prevent client overlap. Along with careful cleaning after each session, our trainers are required to wear masks indoors at all times.
