This is a neighborhood gem. The food was amazing. We started with the octopus and steak tartare. Then had the scallops and the pasta was perfect. Server Lauren was delightful.

I hesitate to write a good review for Virtu because I don't want it to be discovered and get to busy to enjoy it! But besides my misgivings, this is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. The ambiance was great both inside and outside. The food was both interesting and amazing and the heavily Italian influenced wine list was absolutely insane. We love it so much we went for brunch the next day. Just go. You won't regret it. What a phenomenal experience we had for our anniversary!! I cannot overstate what an amazing experience my girlfriend and I had for our anniversary dinner. From start to finish, every interaction with our server and the support staff was absolutely stellar. Despite the colder weather, we had a personal heater that was perfectly tuned so we were never to hot or cold. Every staff member that interacted with us was sure to wish us well and congratulate us on our anniversary.Furthermore, the food was plated wonderfully, and the server recommendations were on point every time. When I found a parking space directly in front of Virtu Honest Craft, I felt it was a good omen. It was. We were there on our 28th wedding anniversary. We had high expectations based on our previous visits. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by our server with two glasses of champagne and a card wishing us a wonderful time. This neighborhood spot is wonderfully intimate without a bit of pretense or stuffiness. The environment, as terrific as it is, is exceeded by the great food and table side service. Each course, from starter to entree to dessert got better and better. My wife and I joked that when we come back to Scottsdale we will make reservations every other night at Virtu... only because more frequently would be embarrassing. This is a beautiful restaurant. We always sit on the patio as it is so charming. Even on a cool evening it is comfortable with heaters and pretty fire pits. The service is always top notch. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Most of the menu changes regularly and is always new and interesting combinations of flavors. The Pulpo - octopus - dish is a constant and it is melt in your mouth bits of tender octopus. The asparagus dish with an egg, a bit of truffle and prosciutto, is to die for.
