We loved everything about this place. It has the”industrial chic” decor which is all the rage but more importantly it was perfect for a wedding! The rooms were so perfect for the happy hour and a separate room for dinner and the room that had worked perfectly for the actual ceremony was amazing as a dance floor later! Laurie was a joy to work with and was so good as knowing what would work for our group!! Our son and his wife as well as all our guests could not have been more pleased with VIper Alley. And the fast that the Hamilton is literally the same parking lot made it awesome when guests were leaving. No waiting for hotel shuttles. Just walk next door!! Everything was wonderful!! More...

The food was excellent again, as well. We got lots of compliments on the food and the service. I love the modern cool vibe of Viper Alley.  It can be dressed up or down, and the assortment of screens and furniture really allows it to be transformed into your vision. My husband and I had our wedding at Viper Alley this past July, and it was the most perfect day! We got so many compliments on how unique the venue was. Many of our family members were hesitant when we chose it, but couldn't get over how cool it was! Our guests also raved about the food! It's hard to come by good wedding food, because it's hard to maintain quality when you have to mass-produce it, but the kitchens of Viper gave us the most delicious meal! We chose to have an ice cream sundae bar over bringing in a cake, and when my husband and I realized we missed the ice cream, one of the servers, Danielle, brought us some. She made sure we got appetizers during cocktail hour, drinks when our glasses were empty, and even made sure that some guests who missed dinner due to car trouble got food! Laurie and Lindsay helped manage the event and made sure it went off without a hitch. Leading up to it, I know I had a lot of questions, and sometimes some of the sub-questions got lost, but Laurie made sure everything was set before the day came. The only thing that proved to be slightly difficult was tracking down insurance certificates for all of my vendors because it was required that Viper Alley be listed as the certificate holder. But, when it came down to it, Laurie helped me make sure that everything worked out! Laurie helped make sure that our wedding flowed flawlessly and that there were no hiccups. It was the perfect venue for our big day! If you are looking for a modern venue with great food and a cool atmosphere, in addition to a unique backdrop for photos, look no further! More...

My Daughter's Bat Mitzvah party was this past Saturday night at Viper Alley. The party was off the charts!!! Everything was perfect! !! People are still talking about it!!! The first comment is "that venue was perfect" "such a good place for a party." I can tell you that Viper Alley is the only place to have your party. From day one Laurie Cohn , the Director of Catering and Special Events, was amazing and extremely helpful and valuable in helping us plan and make decisions for the party. She is very professional, was always available and if not would get back to us as soon as possible (never a long time). She listened to what we wanted and made adjustments to menus and made great suggestions on our food selections. People are raving about the coconut chicken that Laurie recommended we serve as part of the dinner for adults. Not kidding at least 10 people have raved about this coconut chicken. We worked with the General Manager Chris and he was always helpful and making sure everything was taken care of. The amazing staff and service did not end there. Everyone was top notch!! Dirty plates were removed right away and the place was kept spotless (even with 100+ crazy kids throwing stuff all over the place). The food was incredible in all areas. Appetizers, Dinner, Desserts....everything!!! The Molten Cake was kept under a warm lamp and was amazing. The sweet table, that Laurie helped us pick out looked eloquent and tasted even better. It'sTuesday and I still can't stop thinking about how perfect the party was!!! All my vendors were amazing and selecting Viper Alley as the venue was one of the best decisions of my life!!! EVERYONE had a great time and a lot of that had to do with the Venue!!! We took advantage of the bar package and had to Uber home. Can you believe Laurie took time from her Sunday to meet us at the Venue and give us the stuff we left behind the night before. Sweatshirts, jackets that were left at the venue, leftover sweets and whatever else was there. That is above and beyond. Like I said...don't even think twice!!! Viper Alley and their entire staff but especially Laurie Cohn and Chris are the best in the business. Hope they have Laurie under contract for a long time....she is that valuable!!! Amazing Job Viper Alley!!!! See you again in 3 1/2 years for my Son's Bar Mitzvah!!! Hopefully it is as perfect as this one!!!! More...

Viper Alley literally ROCKS!!  From the minute you walk into the front door, you know you're in a special place.  Everywhere you look there is something special to see, eclectic light fixtures, cool wall art painted on aged brick walls, unique but comfy furniture.  The interior is why we initially chose it as the venue for our Foundation fundraising event.  However, as impressive as the interior is, the staff at Viper Alley is what really makes this place special.  Laurie, Chris and the entire staff go above and beyond!  Planning was easy with Laurie.  She gave us ideas and options and was available during the entire planning process.  The day of the event we decided to make a major change to our floor plan.  Chris said, "No problem!" He made the change and it looked great!!  The food is incredible!  Not only is it delicious, the staff makes sure that it is fresh throughout the event.  The alcohol selection is massive.  When you order a glass of wine the choice isn't just white or red and liquor ranges all the way to top shelf.  Even better, the bartenders know how to pour a great drink!  We have speakers and a band at our event and the sound system is perfect!  Even clean-up was made easy.  The staff went out of their way to help us!  This is the 2nd year we have had our event at Viper Alley and we WILL be back for year 3! I had never been here before but was invited to attend a wedding.  What a great venue this is!  It has a really cool vibe.  They have their own wood burning pizza oven that put forth incredible pizza appetizers.  We also really enjoyed the tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese appetizers.  The dinner was served Family style (most likely the bride and groom's choice) and was remarkably good.  The skirt steak was well seasoned and delicious.  The chicken breast, which was cut into thick strips, I thought would be dry and tough turned out to be tender, moist and really tasty.  The vegetables and pasta dish that were served were only average and probably served to soothe the vegetarians amongst us. Dessert was a chocolate molten lava cake that could be done without.  It was very dry.  The best part of dessert was the coffee that they happily added a shot of Bailey's to and some whipped cream.  Yum!Loved the large dance floor but didn't like that the DJ was under Chuppa.  They should have taken it down,  It just seemed weird.  Also, because is was a fairly large group many tables were located over the bowling alley on the other side of bar.  If seated there, you felt a bit removed from the goings on and it was a bit of a walk to the dance floor.  Overall a really fine choice for a wedding venue!  And we loved not having to drive into the city plus added bonus - a parking lot right there, free of charge! I organized a family reunion where we had 106 people!  Since this gathering was the first of its kind and turnout exceeded expectations in a major way, the pressure was on.  My initial plan was to have everything at the Marriott down the street, however, I wasn't excited about having the big Saturday night event in a typical hotel environment.  Prior to our event, I didn't know Viper Alley hosted private events.  I stumbled upon them after googling local venues.  When we visited the location for the first time, we were immediately won over by the vibe & feel of the room.  The atmosphere is very unexpected and out of character for the suburbs.  What I've told many people is that it invokes fun with a festive energy and high coolness factor.  It's sensory overload, in a good way.   My big concerns going into the event were cost as well as the quality of food and service.  Consequently, I scanned Yelp reviews to get a sense of things.  The Yelp reviews I read that were written after the point where the venue changed to exclusively hosting private events are generally consistent with our experience.  For example, the pricing was very reasonable and on point for a private event facility.  And in fact, since our event, they've updated their website to include the menu and prices right there -  so now you can see for yourself. Of the menu options, we selected "The Best Is Yet To Come" - and they were very accommodating to swap out a couple items of equal value.  We also needed 10 kids dinners which they did without question.  The food was very tasty and satisfying.  I worried the food might range closer to pub food and be a far cry from the possible hotel option we were otherwise considering.  It's definitely not pub food.  In fact, one family member remarked how the food complimented the space in that it was tasty, festive, and fun.  On the service front, I have to say, I was very impressed by the entire team.  They're approach and professionalism was a big reason our night went smoothly and our attendees had a good time.  Again, I worried they might have too few bartenders - similar to a typical bar on a New Year's Eve night - where you have to wait forever for a drink.  On the contrary, they had a full set of bartenders that were attentive, courteous, and engaging with our folks.  Separately, they had a head guy who had his hand on the pulse the whole evening.  And the event manager I had been working with leading up to the event - Laurie Cohn - was there that night as well.  The two of them instilled tremendous confidence.  And since the event was literally all on my shoulders, it made a huge difference having that confidence & support from the venue.  It was a difference maker. To give you an example of the kind of extra care we received from these folks: I didn't get a chance to eat as I was MC'ing and hosting the whole night.  Laurie and the others picked up on this, set aside a full plate of food, and surprised me at the end of the night.  There are also other examples where they went above and beyond.Last note is if you happen to be working with Laurie Cohn specifically, I found tremendous value in bouncing ideas off her as I was crafting my event plans.  She gave me honest no BS recommendations - not ones based on trying to get extra money, but rather to make sure our event was as good as it could be.  I hope to have an opportunity to do another event there one day. The food was amazing! It’s so hard to pick a favorite, but you can’t go wrong with the marinated grilled skirt steak. My husband and I still talk about it to this day! During cocktail hour, we were taking photos with our family. We figured we’d do this while our guests were able to enjoy appetizers and cocktails. Listen up! First of all, this is no longer a venue for musical events.  They are now strictly doing bookings for parties and corporate events.  We originally looked at this place about 3 years ago for our son's Bar Mitzvah and he chose a different venue.  We were disappointed, but it was his party, his choice. Fast forward 2 years.  Our daughter had her mind up the second we first went here where she wanted it.  At the time of our booking, they had to date, completed 12 Mitzvah's.  That was over a year ago.  The venue has a main room which is partially split with a dance area and then another where you could do bowling.  If you choose not to do bowling for your event, they can cover it up and put the adults there (recommended).  When you are doing the contract, make sure you get everything in there that you want because it is a good method of communication between you and the venue. We did select to have some bowling, but after about half an hour, my daughter decided to kill it as nobody was dancing and that is really what people should be doing.Appetizers: We had more than enough appetizers for everyone.  Most was finger food.  There were a couple of items that if I had another event, I might avoid, not because of taste but  ease of eating.  These would be the egg rolls and even the pizza.  I found many other items just easier to eat.  Nobody wants to be at a party and make a mess.  We also had sushi, grilled salami. cheese sticks, warm pretzels with cheese,  coconut chicken on a stick (the best), and pigs in a blanket.Main course: you get different package options.  We chose the marinated skirt steak with the chicken vesuvio and were not disappointed.  It was very good and we had a number of people compliment us on our choice of venues and how great everything was. We chose the Ceaser salad along with a couple of side dishes.Dessert - In addition to the molton lava coffee we chose, we also selected several trays of dessert that had a variety of cookies, fruit, rice krispie treats, chocolate covered items.  One unique thing they did was took our daughter's logo (now edible) and placed it on some of the items of food.  A very nice touch.Beverages: Soft drinks were lined up in advance for everyone at the bar so nobody had to wait.  We also had a liquor package but in our family there are not a lot of drinkers so we ended up paying for some that nobody actually had as we had to hit an overall (all inclusive) minimum for the party.  This minimum was for everything above combined, not just liquor so we had to try and balance everything.Service: It seems as though, several of the staff have been there awhile so they are experienced with the venue and they did an amazing job. The people that work here seem to care as much about making the customers (patrons) happy as if the owner was doing the serving himself. Thanks to Laurie and all of her staff to making our daughter's Bat Mitzvah a night to remember. None of us had been there before and honestly, by the sound of the name, we were expecting a dive. This was such a nice venue we almost thought it couldn't be right! Friendly people, immaculately clean, and great sound. Draft Green Line was $5 which I thought was a fair price for a concert. The only thing we didn't like was that our waitress (who was at our table often to make sure we had drinks) closed our tab without asking only one band into the show. It wasn't really a big deal but we were super surprised she assumed that. She did it twice more. By the third time we were actually ready. I very much recommend this venue - and their brochure for special events made me want to have a party there! More...
