Went for brunch we had heard was delicious. Hubby had the cajun omelet it was tender, shrimp cooked perfectly. I had crab Benedict and eggs were poached perfectly, crab was tasty, fruit side tasty. We both had cocktails and they were tasty too. Service was prompt although waiter was quick to remove bread plate....not sure why. Our waiter, who’s name I’m failing to recall, made us feel welcome and did a great job walking us thru the details of the menu. I asked to have my martini remade since it had too much vermouth and wasn’t cold enough. He took care of that in a flash. I and a colleague decided to try Vintage Year. It is so yummy!!! The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating...did I say how yummy the food was! I have eaten all over the country and other parts of the world and I would say this restaurant is in the top 10. I had the whole fish with asparagus risotto and grilled brussel sprouts. Vintage Year is simply wonderful from the time you step into the restaurant to the second you leave totally satiated by the food, service and ambiance. The wait staff are professional, friendly and helpful and make this a welcoming place. We enjoyed our appetizers (try the baked oysters with jalepenos), our cheese plate and salads. Each entree was not only satisfying but well displayed. I like how they used seasonal veggies to compliment the main course. This is the BEST restaurant in Montgomery, hands down! It's a pretty space, romantic, on the quieter side. The staff is excellent and accommodating​. I have many foods I​ can't eat, gluten for one, and they went out of their way to substitute and accommodate me.The filet was cooked to perfection! Service was fabulous & the food was delicious. We did not realize the restaurant closed at 2 p.m. on Sunday & stayed at our table until 2:30 p. m. undisturbed, very kind. The catch of the day was red snapper & it was deliciously prepared--the skin was seasoned so tastily I even ate all of that! The presentation was artful. Our server was attentive to our needs, and kept our glasses filled. We went to Sunday brunch, but I look forward to going and sampling their menu on other days.
