I wanted a white ceremony and a goth reception. Think like Christine Quinn inspired wedding, but without the swans and she delivered. The first moment we met Rowena with her black and purple hair, we clicked and knew she was the one we wanted to do our wedding. I told her I didn't want something traditional. And that's what I got. As a very fickle, uncommitting, distracted- by-every-new-thing-I-saw- bride who didn't know what she wanted, just what she didn't, Rowena and her team took that direction and ran with it. We were hiring Rowena & team to do the wedding decoration at the first place, but then ended up hiring her also as our Wedding Planner. She has lots of pretty decoration items that we could choose from, and goes really well with our romantic elegance theme. It was great working together with her. She has good quality of silk flowers that we used a lot for the decor.

Her partner Carmen also did a nice job for the fresh flowers, she got me peonies that I like for my hand bouquet even though it’s a bit hard to find during this season. And the centerpieces were looking great as well. We didn’t really like the first mock up of the centerpiece that they presented to us, but the final design for the wedding day was really pretty.

Little tips from me: do get the uplights because it really make a big difference for the ambience. More...
