You have to try their chai tea latte, the cinnamon taste is so rich and they add the perfect amount of sugar so it's not super sugary. The Paleo is awesome, as well as the Veggie classic, switch to avocado if you are vegan. The place is small but cozy, you have to go through a bookstore. I'd definitely come back for a cup of chai tea latte to go, and will check out their lunch too! More...

This is a great place for pizza, apps (like wings and such) and desserts! I was just in stopping by visiting friends in Lockport and we decided to grab a bite to eat. A quick search for pizza and I caught this nice little gem out of the corner of my eye. This Venus is a good small-medium sized diner layout. The decor is very nice, wooden chairs and booths. Nice hand paintings and pictures of Italy adorn the walls. The waitstaff are very friendly and inviting. We were seated in the back rooms with a nice mild lighting and classic jazz setting the mood well. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. I had a very delicious clams casino, my friends got the calamari and pizza logs. The calamari and the clams casino could've been cooked a bit longer. I tried the calamari and it could be a good bit more golden and crispy. A tip for the chefs, perhaps put the small squids in later than the actual rings. Those are crisp and delicious. The clams casino could've been more crisped in the breading stop the clamshell. All in all very very tasty. Then for the piece de resistance we ordered a large 17" pie with sausage and spicy cup pepperoni. The pizza comes like an almost cross over between Chicago deep dish and NY style. Super delicious steaming hot cheesy meaty goodness. Crisp crust and a deliciously generous filling cheesy meaty goodness atop a huge tray. We also ordered a dozen garlic Parmesan wings. Those were spectacular as well, crispy skin outside and delicious steamy moist goodness within. All in all this place is defiantly a go to for me anytime I'm around and want a pizza and wings. Pretty eclectic eatery that could be hard to find in the crowded Whistler village. Yelp reviews drew me to this place originally for lunch and it didn't disappoint. Their menus items range from soups to Mac n cheese to Pad Thai. I opted for the chicken pad Thai and it was very tasty. I also liked the counter service. It was quick and efficient for a fast lunch.  They have a good amount of tables and places to sit to eat, but seems that getting food to go is most popular. Would go again and try something new. The grilled cheese looked unique as they wrap the bread with cheese and grill it! More...

This is a favorite restaurant in Lockport and a go-to for take out nights. I was sad to learn they took their cheddar fries appetizer off the menu though!  It was my favorite guilty pleasure and it may stop some visits in the future as Lockport is now pretty out of the way for us. I still recommend them for Italian food and subs. The wedge fries are great here and do yourself a favor and get a side of ranch! My fav pasta dish is the Cajun chicken Alfredo but I suggest subbing for penne pasta - less mess! More...

Best pancakes! Hands down! My husband ALWAYS gets french toast, but not when we eat at Churchill's! No, sir! He orders pancakes with the rest of us! Their specials offer so much variety. It's delicious! No matter how boring or exciting you want your breakfast, you can get it there! Their eggs actually taste fresh. The sausage is ahh-mazing! The bacon is a little small, but still delicious. You can taste the quality in the food. And the coffee ain't too shabby either ;)It's tiny and cozy, but you won't feel cramped. The decor is definitely from a previous time, but it's historic Sturbridge! There's handicap entrance on the opposite side of the restaurant. They only take cash, but there is an ATM there that we use often. We try to get there early to beat the rush on the weekends. The staff is always friendly and accommodating! They've even pulled out coloring books for my girls on a slow morning. They are worth all the tips! More...

Whats not to like?  Everything was spot on and such a great value! The portabella chicken fettucine Alfredo was the best dish for our table.  It was a real alfredo sauce that was not too thick and had a nice mushroom flavor (maybe they have a rich stock?  Maybe some porcini salt added?)I try calamari everywhere I go, their calamari is just the way I like it- lightly battered with enough corn meal? to add crunch.  Batter was lightly seasoned, not bland, but still tasted the squid.Other highlights: service (thanks Sandy :), ambiance, value.  Bread, red sauce, seasoning (i.e. not salty), ganache on the profiterole (dessert was not overly sweet and reasonable portion), RANCH (they sell it too), tea selection.Definitely coming back More...

Located inside a bookstore but it seems to be a local favorite. They are in the same group as Mogul's coffee a few steps away. It is a cozy cafe perfect to unwind and just relax.Came here for lunch since our nephew prefers eating fried eggs all the time. Good thing they can do that for less than a toonie per fried egg. For us adults, we ordered chicken pad thai and chicken curry with brown rice. Portions are pretty big for the price especially in Whistler Village. I enjoyed their pad thai -- had lots of chicken and tofu and tastes a bit authentic and not ketchup-y. Wasn't able to try the chicken curry but I was told that it tasted good too and had a mix of chicken and various veggies.Great option for a quick and filling lunch that isn't so expensive. More...

Village Eatery is one of my favorite, if not favorite Italian restaurant. They have amazing pasta dishes, super friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and daily specials! We went on this occasion to celebrate my birthday with a requested dinner here. I am a sucker for fresh baked bread with marinara sauce to dip in, it always warms the heart and stomach. They have a special called spaghetti bistro, which is my go-to dish every time! It comes with soup or salad, and the dish consists of sausage, meatballs, portabella mushrooms, spaghetti and their delicious marinara sauce. Their is enough for lunch the next day that they will gladly wrap up for you.My wife usually gets the eggplant parm, which is fantastic as well according to her, I am not a huge fan of eggplant parm. They have delicious desserts as well, so this is an all inclusive great stop for food from the villagio dip (which is amazing, it is spinach, dressing, feta and you dip pita into it!) to their spaghetti bistro to their dessert tray. I highly recommend stopping by for a delicious Italian dinner! More...

Going to small dinners and such are the best. I'm open minded with the menu and and love to try everything because it shows how much they really care about the food. Not this place. I order only breakfast! This place has such a great breakfast menu. I highly recommend the eggs benedict with some coffee and you will have an awesome meal. I did. For some reason though they had only one waitress and when we came in, the place was really busy. The flow stayed busy and she was apologizing to every table and thanking them for their understanding. I was mad that this has happened as I use to wait. We waited quite a bit but finally got our meal and we were happy. Got a couple refills on coffee and gave her a great tip because she deserved it. Expect the place to be busy and a wait for your food. Hopefully they will have two waitresses on every shift. Trust me on this. It's worth it. More...

My boyfriend and I had just gotten off the bus from Vancouver to Whistler with way too much luggage to carry, freezing to death, and extremely hangry. So it was a good thing that Gone Village Eatery was right where we were dropped off in the front near the visitor's center, making it a super convenient location to go to without having to lug your suitcases everything in the snow. FYI, it is located within the bookstore but it's pretty obvious where it is once your'e inside.By the time we had gotten there though (which was 2pm-ish), they had ran out of most of their sandwiches and only had the chicken sandwich left. Pretty standard with your meat, tomato, bread and lettuce. The sandwich was nothing special overall, but the chicken was surprisingly juicy and the bread was really good. More...

I was impressed by this cute little cafe/ diner.  I was expecting more of a greasy spoon type place, but the food here was great!  I got the Paleo dish and from the fresh salad (great dressing!), perfectly cooked sausage, bacon, potatoes, and eggs ...honestly the eggs sold this for me - though scrambled, you could tell everything was prepared well, clean, utilized fresh ingredients and it wasn't just thrown haphazardly together on an oily grill.  My friend also enjoyed his eggs benedict and pretty much inhaled it.  Great price point for the Village as well as relatively convenient to 2 hour free parking before hitting the slopes.  Will definitely come back here again and look forward to it! Great hole in the wall spot behind the Harry Potter and 5o shades of grey books. Excellent soup and chili with a Grilled cheese that boasted a solid pound of melted cheddar that fully encapsulated the bread and insulated the throat upon entry. However, I was a little disappointed with the bread that comes with the soup...Basically a cold slice of wheat bread with a hint of green, if you opted for the jalapeño cheddar bread. A little toasting would go a long way...maybe a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, a dusting of butter, or fun novel shape like a roll. A small garnish on the chili wouldn't hurt as well....I'm not asking for crumbled xtra cheddar flavor blast gold fish or anything (although that would be awesome), just a good Ol'dollop of sour cream or 3 slivers of green onions. Maybe next time Eatery, til then I'm gone. More...

Many restaurants are generally really good and the food satisfying, but when I'm out with my sister and mom, most servers and cooks ignore our plea for "EXTRA EXTRA CRISPY BACON" and it usually arrives to the table rubbery.  This detail is not the end of the world, certainly.  But THIS place got the bacon RIGHT, and the waiter who took our order (a delight, by the way) commented that he loves his bacon like that, as well.  My sister has a severe gluten allergy, and has found that at least she can eat omelettes safely (Churchill's were huge and delicious) at most restaurants.  She does not usually hold out hope that the home fries are gluten free since most places fry everything on the same surface causing contamination.  Our waiter explained that he also does some cooking and offered to cook her home fries separately to ensure they were gluten-free for her.  Granted, it was 1pm and the place was not packed, so it might be a tall order at 8 or 9am, but we were delighted with our experience here and will certainly be coming back!
