First time at this location. I had the tofu fries, and they were quite good. Parking in the area while school is in session can be challenging, but I was able to park right across the street when UNT's doing semester ended and the students were not attending classes. I have to pay homage to my favorite restaurant in all of Denton. This is my cure-all magic shop for: hangovers (when I used to drink), illnesses, bad days, rainy days ANY days. Their phô is consistently delicious, & always cooked to perfection. I frequent so often, one of your tenured employees knows my order by heart when I approach the counter. If your expecting traditional this is not your place, but if you like some great Asian fusion this is a nice little shop. The appetizers were great . The spicy garlic fries are fantastic, and the crab rangoons were ok. The main corse were the sobo noodles wich were awesome with fresh cucumber and cilantro and shrimp. This may be only Vietnamese restaurant in Denton but and it's a very important but, it would still probably be the best if there were a dozen. I come from Houston with a large Vietnamese community Viet Bites would be a standout there too. If you can't tell yet I love this place! Had banh minh sanwich with roast pork all the trimmings even a little pate' it was perfection. The flavor profile is unique the pork smokey, pickled veggies crisp and the French roll tasting freshly baked. Actual heaven in a togo bag, plus it's nearby and the staff is helpful and hilarious. Let's not forget the fried dumplings they were very good and the sauce was another slice of perfection. My new favorite place and nobody bit me so vampire fans adjust your expectations accordingly. My favorite place to eat at on Fry! I always get the chicken pho with beef broth & its the bomb, and love the VB special. Love that they play R&B throwbacks all the time. I come here at least once a week.
