My 4 year old cut her own hair, so I called Vidogi to see if they could fit her in so I could get it fixed. They got us in right away and were so sweet to my daughter. They made her feel like a princess and were able to give her a very cute haircut to hide what she had done herself. Denise is the only person I trust with my hair! I have been going to her for the past four years and I have never been disappointed. I just moved here from Florida and I was in need of a new salon. I booked my first appointment in May with Katelyn and was blown away at the detail, precision and care she took with my care. I was moving from Dallas to Scottsdale, and decided I wanted a whole new look for the new city. The week I was heading out, I got an absolutely horrible haircut in Dallas. Nothing was even; it looked like two different haircuts — and almost mullet-like!As I was driving I searched for a salon in Scottsdale that would be open on Sunday (I was getting into town Saturday night), and was excited to see that this salon was open, AND had great online reviews. I booked a haircut with Caitlin, and I SO THRILLED!!! My hair still has a ways to grow to a better length, but she softened the layers and blended it well so that I can be happy with it in the interim. I have struggled with my hair and getting it done, because it’s never how I want it. Searching online for a reliable and highly rated salon, I came across Vidogi and I went for it based on reviews. From the moment I walked into the salon, I was comfortable with Mariana. She not only listened to what my previous experiences were, but she looked at my photos and knew exactly where I wanted to be and how to get me there, all with keeping my hair healthy. Kristel gave me a fantastic short-hair haircut. She knew all the right questions to ask about how I like my short hair tapered on the back, manicured around my ears, and slightly longer and more feminine on top. To give readers an idea of the cut I received, I normally style my hair a la Robyn circa 2011-2012 (the platinum blonde Swedish singer but my hair is brown and just a little longer on the sides), and the haircut Kristel gave me was both beautiful, edgy, yet professional.Also, I really appreciate that Vidogi salon fit me in on a Saturday. I had just flown into town from DC and was in desperate need of a haircut.I also appreciated the styling advice Kristel provided. Kristel is an experienced stylist (nearly ten years) and had a client immediate following me that was going all in with cut, color and a Brazilian Blowout. The care she took with me, I would trust her multiple services, too. And as an added bonus, her hairdryer is straight up space age - it’s a Dyson Dryer and you can actually have a conversation over it (the decibel level is low for those clients with sensitive hearing).In sum, I had a really good experience and I’d come back again and recommend others to this cute yet tucked away salon in downtown Scottsdale. Despite her being pregnant and giving birth right before my wedding she responded to every question I had and worked with me to make everything perfect. My hair and makeup on the day of was perfect. I don't put on makeup often so it was important that everything felt comfortable and not to heavy. Denise made sure of this and the whole day my makeup felt so natural I forgot about it. I love Denise. She is honest, very talented and is very knowledgeable where she will educate you on how to take care of your hair, or talk you out of a particular dye job if it will be damaging (even if the dye job will make the salon more money). Mariana was incredible! So happy to have finally found someone I can trust with my hair! I showed her a photo and she got as close as possible, given my hair type. She also recommended we go slower when dyeing, which I appreciate. Other stylists have just done exactly what I asked and then I ended up with fried hair. I have been searching for a decent hair dresser for years, ever since I came to Arizona! Finally, I found someone that could deliver gorgeous results. Denise is an absolute artist and her team is so wonderful and full of talent! After the amazing cut and color they gave me back in February for my sister’s wedding, I knew I had to go back for my 5 year old’s first hair cut and my own hair and makeup for my maternity photos! They didn’t let me down! My daughter has an adorable new cut and I couldn’t stop checking myself out in the mirror or taking selfies! I made an appointment with Katelyn for a silver balayage session. For reference: I naturally have straight, thick, black Asian hair, so my hair took a hit when I started the coloring process two months ago. Katelyn was very friendly and accommodating. She explained the coloring process and decided to try out a small section of my processed hair to see if it would be able to tolerate the bleaching process vs. diving into the full coloring session. In the end, she expressed her concern for the integrity of my hair if she proceeded with the balayage and offered a restorative Olaplex treatment. All in all, we agreed that it was best not to follow through with the balayage process this visit and to allow my hair to repair and restore for at least a month or so. I really appreciate the time Katelyn took to explain the process and in recommending the best route for my current situation.As for the environment and ambiance, the aesthetics of the interior exuded a chill and classy contemporary vibe, which added to the overall experience. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be my go-to hair salon for coloring. Keep in mind that the prices do run on the higher end, but I figured that's partly due to the location.
