As someone who has a genetic condition that affects the heart, I can not say enough
about the power of IV infusions. No matter how much I drink to try and stay hydrated, it never seems like doing so is enough to keep my blood pressure up.
My cardiologist and I discussed starting IV infusions as it has has many benefits, accompanied with no negative side effects. The cardiologist is having difficulty with getting my medical insurance to cover frequent IV therapy in their office. Thankfully we found Vida Flo. I go every two weeks as of now to give my veins a break in between sessions. It has truly been a positive experience. I'm having less tachycardic episodes and feeling less fatigued. It is a
very laid back and clean facility (I want one of those recliners in my living room). They even have drinks and snacks. What's better than propping up your feet, sipping on a drink, and watching ridiculousness on the tv all while you are getting replenished? I've been twice now. The first time after a long trip and then again after noticing my skin was dry/ I was dehydrated. Both times I got exactly what I wanted from it-- hydration, more energy, less fatigue, dry skin relief, and decreased joint pain. So, I do not drink water, just don't like it. About once a week, may force myself to drink a few sips or a glassful.
Had heard about a place called Vida Flo and thought about going cuz I know how dehydration affects the body and have all the signs.
A certain type of tightness in my skull and face, really concentrated urine(dark yellow), temperature regulation issues, kidneys hurt sometimes, dry cracking skin. These may not be the symptoms for everyone but they are for me. Lately these symptoms have become worse so today I made an appointment. Will share the outcome today and the effects forward.
The staff is knowledgeable, informative and very nice.
Update: Just finished first treatment, Replenish with Energize and Cleanse. Tightness in head and face..gone, dry mouth gone, feel springy when I walk and a bit euphoric. So glad I did this for me.
Update: Not something I want to talk about but feel it is important to share for those who might be experiencing the same symptoms. Ist urination after treatment, yellow(not dark) and very cloudy, 2nd, light yellow and clear. Feel so much better.Woohoo!!

Vida-Flo is an oasis in my life. I, like so many others, am always dehydrated. I also battle anemia. The nurses at Vida-Flo are pros and I have never had discomfort or any pain when receiving fluids. I walked in yesterday, discouraged, feeling very run down, and completely done. Today was my first visit and it was amazing! The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating! I was sick last night with food poisoning and couldn’t keep any fluids down.
Plus my legs were cramping pretty bad from too much work at the gym and being too dehydrated. I remembered finding Vida Flo on Facebook, so I revisited their website and set up an appointment online for the next day, which was extremely easy and quick.
My whole experience was very comfortable even though it was a hard stick because I was so dehydrated, but Angie did a wonderful, pain free IV stick! I sat in a comfortable chair with a blanket and watched tv while the fluids did all the work. Before I even left, I felt more hydrated and less weak and by the time I got home, my legs weren’t cramping any more. I am so thankful for y’all because this is exactly what my body needed to recover!
